Serious question. Why is it ok for some people like Moto Hose to spam? Yet a company like the MX Belts guy just gets his ass chewed. Just wondering. And I have absolutely no problem with it as I like to see the different products. Hoses look good Lumpy!

We saw the word "HOTTIE" and were sucked into it, VS reading "SHAMELESS PLUG" you go in knowing what you're in for. We had no idea the hottie was a man till it was too late.

Because his product appeals to more people, and he actually contributes to the forum, other than just spamming his product. That's just my opinion

The hose kits look great!

He is also a great contributor to this forum and his opinion is valued.
He isn't just some random guy coming on just to spam.

Serious answer:

Three reasons in my book.

1 - Because Lumpy isn't on here being a dick to people that don't spell things correctly.....especially considering that guy doesn't speak english

2 - It's not spam if you post on here regularly about topics other than "buy my stuff".

3 - Moto Hose also spends money to advertise on here

IMO the reason that matters the most is simple.

Moto Hose = great product at a great price from an American moto loving company.

Chinese hoses = cheap crap you'd be buying from the Commies.

This has been Slipdog's "Real Talk" tip of the day.

That is a good question RX217 .... but it requires a complicated answer.

As we all know ..... you get what you pay for. There are many reasons why Moto Hose offers a superior high quality product than our China competition.

Moto Hose is a small USA company with lower overhead than our other USA competition........that is one of the major reasons we can offer a better value quality product at a lower price than our USA competition.

Value .... Moto Hose

Moto Hose kits include more hoses than any other hose manufacturer in the WORLD = MORE VALUE
How much value is in your ability to walk into any USA motorcycle shop and your dealer can get our products from WPS (Western Power Sports)?
How much value is there in being able to call us at 704-340-7958 if you have a question? Are you going to call China?
How much value is in our sponsoring USA riders?
How much value is in you being able to walk up to us at local and major USA AM Motocross and PRO Nationals and Supercrosses where we are doing rider support?
How much value is in our being a USA company and using as many USA products as we can in our production?

While the China product may seem the same in pictures they are not the same as Moto Hose. While the materials may seem the same .... are they? There are cheap low quality materials and there are high quality materials. Think China motorcycles to what you see on the race track. We start our process by using the highest quality materials available. China?

The Moto Hose manufacturing process is very different than the China knock offs and our QC is much more stringent.

You receive a better quality, more value product from Moto Hose.

Without going into specific details (not going to tell the China knock offs what is wrong with their product0 ..... if you try that China knock off on your bike you are gambling ...... If all you want is a cheap, low quality part, then the ebay china product may be for you to gamble on.....You can throw the dice or choose Moto Hose.

Lumpy,

Couldn't pull up your site for some reason (work?), do you have hoses for a 2012 KTM 300XC? Thinking of replacing mine and keeping the OEM stuff as spares...

Thanks,

A supermini motor is one that is tore down and put together more than any other amateur class I'd think. Well after a year the hoses look as good as the day I bought them. Supermini left yesterday to another owner I'm sure he'll get another year out of them.

Can't say the same for the T-shirt though I've about wore that out!!LOL

Funny fact is .... most of the AM championships won using Moto Hose had been on the riders bike(s) for more than a year....going from one bike to the next.

BTW.....Lumpy , I've been meaning to jump on over to your site and order up a blue hose kit for my 08' CRF450. You have them listed for $119.95 on your site right now.....is that the "on sale" price.....or is it cheaper? Not complaining about the price either....I think it's fair.....but just wanted to check.

Not to stir up the shit pot more but I did get some of the chinese knock-offs a few years ago for an RM125 I had.. they worked fine and fit up OK. I didn't race it and only rode about 1-2 times a month, so whether they would hold up to abuse - who knows. It's hard balancing cheap vs. not having it at all. I spend as much money as I can on US made stuff. I learned about Texas Jeans a while back and after ordering a "trial" pair I followed up by ordered 3 more pair. They are good and more to the point affordable. I can buy some $29 Levis (made in china) from wally world or get some nice American made jeans (including the denim) for the same price, and they are made right in North Carolina.

Anyway - if you can please post up a product page for the KX250-L4 (2002). Thanks!

People here do it every time they order up some Fox or Oneal or whatever racing gear or helmets. Most of that stuff is made by the commies in China.

I think you have good advice but let's be honest.. most folks don't give two poops where their stuff is made. (I do - most of my hand and garden tools are American made... I also buy my jeans from http://texasjeans - $29 for a pair made in North Carolina ).

Yeah maybe.....point was.....I think supporting a fellow Vital guy and his "American business"....is what I would want to do. Even if it costs a few dollars more.

$119.95 is the non Y kit .....the sale price for the $145 Y kit is $124.95 and remember ....... our kit comes with almost every hose on the bike....add the $30 air box elimination kit and its all of them.
