Man...I just don't understand these kind of post.

I never, have issues with my 4-strokes.

They start very, easy, they never bog...And they beat the living shit, out of 2-strokes.

We must live in different worlds.

Easy to start, yeah when they're cold
Never bog, not true, I've ridden severl that bogged or hesitated.
Beat the shit out of 2 strokes, at twice the displacement, is that anything to brag about?

How stupid does this sound? "I just beat the shit out of that guy on the 125 on my 250f".

Leak jet might be clogged, had the same problem got a white bros jet kit for my 07 crf250 (when the engine was stock) and it fixed the problem..... btw: the popular motor hop up shop that did the work actually solidered the leak jet shut on my bike! I will leave their name anonymous

Sorry. 4-strokes don't bog. Just ask our industry experts. Yours must be a POS 2-stroke.

Weird.
I say the exact same thing about my 2-stroke...
Except it beats the living shit out of 4-strokes at all the local events.

I love it when jo-blow lines up next to me on hias brand new shiny 450, then I get to roost the shit out of him on my older 2-smoke.

I can honestly say - I am faster on a 2-stroke then I ever was on a 4.

you have to ride the bikes so differently. I am a run and gun 125 2 stroke guy... my style doesn't fit the 4 strokes... I have another buddy that can't ride a 2 stroker to save his life. I used to give him shit till I actually saw him on a 4 stroke...

Completely different machines really. I'm pretty sure that not everyone made the transition well...

I owned both, at one time or another...I also think if you have issues with a bike running poorly, then of course you will have a bad ride.

I simply stated that my bike work, and run perfectly. I don't understand where the bog issue comes from, it has to be operator error.

I've run 2-strokes in 24 hour GPs with Pros, I've run 4-strokes in 24 hour GPs with Pros.

When the race is completed, the 2-strokes get a rebuilt top end, new tires, chain, sprockets, plastic, and graphics, and we race it more. One RM250, one CR250

When the race is complete, the 4-strokes get a valve adjustment, new tires, chain, sprockets, plastic, and graphics, and we race it more. One CRF450R, One CRF250X

Personally, I prefer the 4-stroke.

Some people find it very offensive that Buddy Christ loves them (even 4-stroke riders). I don't understand it.

Cody Cooper................

I’m just really happy with my entire program. I’m running a Pro Circuit motor that Mitch built for me. The Suzuki is a really good bike. The fuel-injection is good and there’s no bog. It just takes a little to get used to it. I’ve ridden Hondas for so long that I’m just so used to that. Now I learned a lot with set-up, but it’s been good.
