I never, have issues with my 4-strokes.
They start very, easy, they never bog...And they beat the living shit, out of 2-strokes.
Easy to start, yeah when they're cold
Never bog, not true, I've ridden severl that bogged or hesitated.
Beat the shit out of 2 strokes, at twice the displacement, is that anything to brag about?
How stupid does this sound? "I just beat the shit out of that guy on the 125 on my 250f".

GuyB, thanks for the graphic!
Pit Row
I say the exact same thing about my 2-stroke...
Except it beats the living shit out of 4-strokes at all the local events.
I love it when jo-blow lines up next to me on hias brand new shiny 450, then I get to roost the shit out of him on my older 2-smoke.
I can honestly say - I am faster on a 2-stroke then I ever was on a 4.
Completely different machines really. I'm pretty sure that not everyone made the transition well...
It had their stickers right on the side of the carb!....even saw the invoice
I simply stated that my bike work, and run perfectly. I don't understand where the bog issue comes from, it has to be operator error.
I've run 2-strokes in 24 hour GPs with Pros, I've run 4-strokes in 24 hour GPs with Pros.
When the race is completed, the 2-strokes get a rebuilt top end, new tires, chain, sprockets, plastic, and graphics, and we race it more. One RM250, one CR250
When the race is complete, the 4-strokes get a valve adjustment, new tires, chain, sprockets, plastic, and graphics, and we race it more. One CRF450R, One CRF250X
Personally, I prefer the 4-stroke.
I’m just really happy with my entire program. I’m running a Pro Circuit motor that Mitch built for me. The Suzuki is a really good bike. The fuel-injection is good and there’s no bog. It just takes a little to get used to it. I’ve ridden Hondas for so long that I’m just so used to that. Now I learned a lot with set-up, but it’s been good.
