Nope I missed that. I was fast forwarding so may have to rewind.
Big air bmx makes me nervous. I’m amazed at this event.
Big air BMX is sweet. The dude who got KOed is okay...when I saw his limp body sliding across the ramp I thought bad news.
Pumped for FMX

Anyone notice the Ortema neckbrace Luc Ackerman was wearing? I've never seen one of those, looked effective but low profile.

I don't get why they cut the fenders, it makes the bike look silly.

They do it so they don't catch their appendages when throwing them around.
I'd guess less drag when doing flip tricks also.
i'm glad they give these guys a good run in for the best trick comp... It's not like they're doing double backflip combos and front flip combos....
I noticed X Games FMX on tv at the gym last night and it looked like no one was there really. Despite the level these guys have taken fmx, it seems less popular than back when Metzger and Bartram were big. Or when the Mulisha was raging. Maybe it’s just my perception tho but I wasn’t feeling it

I feel the same way. The energy just doesn't seem to be there. Back when they were in LA at the coliseum, it was off the wall. It was Deegan vs Pastrana. Then when Pastrana pulled the double backflip, the place was packed. Sold out. I don't know what they need to do, but the energy isn't there. Even with best trick tonight. They were doing some insane stuff but the energy wasn't there. Honestly, I feel like they might have hit that point where they've hit the ceiling. There's guys doing a lot of the same stuff as last year. Yeah, what they're doing is insane, but to the average viewer, they're thinking oh yeah, saw that last year. There's no hype of "this guy's got something new, let's see if he lands it."
