On right now. Why do these guys have bigger jumps than the SX tracks do?

probably because the promoters use the whole mountain to build the track unlike sx where they use about 65% of the field. haha
those guys get down on those heavy ass sleds though. that's for sure!

Many will be at A2 next weekend. I will be at the Snocross race in Rochester, NY. Can't wait to see Tucker Hibbert. He is a great person and is by far, the fastest snocross racer on the planet.

One thing I noticed, and really think it helped slow down the corners. There was a bump roller type thing right at the exit of the corners. It was probably not man made and probably made from the snowmobiles getting on the power there, but I thought, what a great add to the SX tracks. It looked like a normal bowl turn, but about 3/4 the way through, it had the bump. Some things also, were jumps that were short on the inside and longer on the outside. kinda gave them two lanes to ride. It was pretty interesting to watch.

When the sleds start, everyone gets excited. You see people just get all amped up and start heading toward the course.

No, the Snocross tracks are obviously SX styled tracks. It's not like you can build a snocross track indoors. Not one that would hold up anyway.

Snocross is outdoors, not in a stadium. There's room for big jumps.

they had a couple of snocrosses in the pontiac silver dome a few yrs ago- it was ok, not very big jumps

thay had an entire indoor seriesyears ago. The X games snocross was outside on a mountain, they could make jumps as big as they want, just like a motocross track can. It isnt fair to compare an indoor event to an outdoor one, even if the outdorr is "SX styled"

I was in the second corner for sno x. It was an awesome race for sure. The jumps are so much bigger but they look bigger in person than on tv. This track was huge, like they said it was bigger than most and it was one of the longest tracks i have seen. It was an awesome race with a few crazy wrecks. The flagmen that got hit by the sled was definitely having a bad day. The twins from Texas throwing down the two up back flip was also one of the craziest things i have seen to date.
