I barely get the chance to ride anymore, and have ridden about 3-4 times in the past three years but it always feels good to hop your leg over a bike! When it comes to riding for me there's no "comebacks" anymore or anything like that, simply just enjoying being on a bike. What is your favorite feeling on a bike your first time out? Going off a big jump and instinctively throwing it out there (big or small, just that feeling of moving the bike around), laying it over into a berm, or even just starting your bike in the morning for the first time? At first I rode my dad's friends YZ250, and liked the power, but the bars and grips felt weird so I eventually did more laps on my familiar 09 250f. I was going too slow to put a video together but here's some clips. So yeah, what do you guys enjoy most about going riding after a while off the bike? Enjoy!

I myself am planning on firing up the KX this weekend for the first time this year. Should be fun.

For me it's the floating feeling whilst being in the air, and nailing a rutted corner.

Yep, it's about 10 minutes from my place so it's convienent but my least favorite place to go. I would normally go to Wyvern Ranch, but I wanted to ride with other people. Milestone or Zaca are my favorite places to ride Cool

How do you only ride about once a year when you are 10 mins down the road from what it looks to be a decent track?

I've noticed that when I'm having a stressful time with life, getting on the bike makes everything in life go away for the time I'm at the track. And when life is good, being at the track makes it that much better.

Because riding is expensive, and food on the table is higher priority than riding. Piru isn't worth the 25 bucks (in my opinion), so I'd rather wait until I can afford it and ride somewhere better like Zaca. My bike is also a little sketchy (just a lot of hours, motor problems, and worn out), and I don't have a truck so we take our little Nissan with a trailer my dad made in our garage. Needless to say, I wish I could say I can ride every weekend in a Toyota Tacoma with a '14 YZ250f but it isn't that simple. I also got busy with a job and going to college, and spending my weekends with my girlfriend. Finding time to make the commitment to ride has been tougher than it used to be.

We it only gets worse. My advice, get a 2 stroke, older single cab pickup, don't get your girlfriend pregnant, quit college, get a trade job and ride. More than likely you will quit anyway or end up with a bullshit degree living at home with mom and dad, girlfriend will cheat on you and you'll have to sell the bike to fix the nissan because your bank teller job is important to get to so you can pay your credit card minimal payment.

Its pretty much how it goes.

What's wrong with Piru ? I think the track has been in great shape and only 20 minutes from my house as well. As much as I like Zaca, it's a long drive and $40 to ride, not to mention the cost of gas to get there and back. Not an issue for me so much, but if I was on a budget, I'd rather ride Piru a few times, than the trip to Zaca, which is now an invite only track anyway.

This^^

Riding makes me forget about all the emails, projects, bullshit, and stress from work. Then after a day of riding I love the feeling of being totally wore out.

Btw-thanks for posting .. Great pics and videos!

Sold my bike to move interstate over 8 months ago.

I can't describe the withdrawal symptoms of seeing friend's helmet cams and photos of riding.

But it's the things you do to set your life up for the future....

Now you can see how slow I am really going! For real though my wrist injuries and lack of physical therapy I did on my shoulder really affects my riding. I feel fine fitness and riding ability wise but am SO weak in rough stuff.

It's scary how true that statement is for me. My degree is useless, I dumped the cheating bitch, quit that shitty bank teller job, got a trade job, and moved out LOL.

Now I haven't been riding due to the fear of getting hurt.. again.. and not being able to go to work.
