It’s weird and somehow normal how the court of Vital and my own opinion swings.
- First everyone wanted to hang Barcia
- he gets DQ’d
- then Barcia releases a video showing potential innocence
- Vital and even pulp thinks DQ was not justified, though probable levied based upon past behavior
- now we find out DF is really hurt and the pitchforks come out again

Im not sure if I’m the one with the pitchfork, but I’m warming up to it.
I don’t like linking potential injury to contact because it is part of the sport. However I think Barcia’s parole from past actions needs to be revoked. The AMA did the right thing and called it on the spot. Dylan’s injuries while terrible were the result not the intent. If Hunter had injured Shimoda with his takeout pass at Pala we would have been way more pissed but the intent to hurt him wasn’t there. Not like it was cross jumping.
