Why the hell would a person try to go around the outside?

Dude, the guy basically pulled over to get out of the way and Barcia followed him.....and that makes it Tapia's fault?

BB would have passed Barcia anyway and it was Barcia's fault for following TT to the outside.

What happened to hold your line when people are passing? Why did TT suddenly go to the left/outside. Not real bright.

Yep.. the rule is hold your line so you are predictable. What Tapia did wasn't predictable and caught Barcia.

Perhaps you guys didn't see Tapia head back toward the center of the track like Barcia did just before Tapia cut straight back to the outside. You guys race? Where the hell was Barcia supposed to go when it looked to him like Tapia was diving inside? Bunch of morans around here.

Barcia doesn't seem to handle those situations well. It always seems to be something with him. If you watch everyone in front of him around that corner, they go inside out. Why would he try the outside line? It must be the mustache... it's too distracting.

(as I was typing this he had his interview)

He handled it much better than in his supercross season! Didn't mention it and put on a smile for the camera. I never thought I'd say it, but he seemed mature finally! Much better than roosting a downed rider and medic

Wrong, about the Barcia's fault thing, but right on about Baggett was going to pass him anyway.

Yes, a lot of us race (and it's morOn). That was all on Barcia. Tapia held his line going into the corner then faded to the outside to let the leaders go by. Just a bad line choice by Barcia, end of story. Not that it would have mattered, Baggett would have bagged him anyway eventually. He was on a mission.

Some people bitch if riders hold their line and not get out of the way, others bitch if they get out of the way, I guess some people see what they want to see. IMO Tapia did exactly what he was supposed to and Barcia took a bad line. And Barcia knew it too. Had it been a real bonehead move by Tapia, Barcia would have talked about it on the podium - but he knew he just got beat.

I think He moved over because he saw Bagget coming in down low. Barcia had a choice. Picked the wrong one. Racing incident.

I don't like Barcia. And I definitely wouldn't get my info from TbonesPop. Thanks anyway. I meant to spell it MORAN by the way all knowing racer. Watch it again.

Nope. All he had to do is hold his line.

Baggett would've got him Barcia though... so we only missed out on the pass.

Yep, I guess I do know better. You guys bitch if riders don't move over. Then you bitch when they do. The guy was holding his line until it was safe and intentionally moved out of the way. Barcia followed him to the outside.

Dude, you are fucking comedy. I am only one person so you can take your everyone bitches about everything and pound sand. All I'm bitching about is Tapia and it's well deserved. He ruined the race again. Someone needs to tell him to hold his line and quit looking back, period.

I really prefer not to have an internet swordfight the rest of the day while racing is on. I'm not going to convince you differently, you aren't going to convince me differently.

Can we at least agree it was just a racing incident and let it go?

Nah, it was Tapia's fault. Check the comments above from people who know what they are talking about. I just had a hard time believing someone could possibly see that situation the way you do. I don't really care how you think it went down. Something needs to change about the way Tapia handles being lapped. Second race for the win that he has ruined because he doesn't hold his line.
7/7/2012 11:55am
love how he is just like rolling around. even throws his hand up... if you are just going to roll around and be in the way, gtfo.

After reading the thread about Tapia, and the way he treats people that work hard for the team, I sort of wish he would have just gotten drilled by Barcia, and then Barcia would have just continued on.
