Damn dude that sounds killer. I've got Salmon & asparagus on the menu for tonight but it doesn't compare to corned beef brisket.

Is it gonna be cedar plank salmon? That beats about anything.
I usually grill 'em with fresh dill and sea salt. Never tried cedar plank but I'm ready to try it.

How cool would it be to have Mitch and Roger in the booth for the night show?

Just regular Atlantic Salmon I get from the seafood dept. at Safeway. I cook it 1 of 2 ways..

1) In the oven smothered in honey wrapped in foil.

2) In a cast iron skillet with some salt, pepper, & butter.

I throw the asparagus in the skillet right after just to heat & cook them real quick for like 4-5 minutes.

I have to thank my fiance for it. She got a cast iron skillet like a year ago just to make chicken fried steak and ever since I've taken it over to make salmon, eggs, bacon, etc. I love that thing it makes the food taste so much better.

You said "Safeway" and I figured you were out west somewhere. Where is Folsom? Around SF?

I'm really stoked for how well Chisholm#11 looked out there on the 250. 2nd in qualifying. Has to be best ever I think? Nice seeing a vet guy get revived like that.

I've got a ton of cast iron I can't use because my wife made me get her a glass top stove. I do use it on the grill sometimes...and camping.

Folsom is about 20 minutes away from Sacramento. About 2 hours from SF. My house is like 3 minutes from the Hangtown track. Every year you can see all the semi's coming in and guys staying at the hotels down the street from me.

I know that area. I was stationed at Travis AFB years ago. I love CA...just can't afford it. I don't know how you guys get by.

Hard to believe Frye is not only in group B but he's not even leading it....this dude was supposed to be competing for podiums.

You can't use cast iron on glass top? I didn't know that, I swear I've seen it done before but maybe not..

Barely dude. With our 2 incomes living in a 900 sq ft condo we just stay above water. We bought this place for 267k 4 years ago, the unit right above us (exactly the same) just sold last month for 379k....can't believe it.

I wonder if Vohland is still not 100% or is this just a result of him having nearly zero SX experience? He should easily be in the top 10.

Cedar plank salmon on a grill with lemon butter will just about make me throw rocks at a steak.
