just in bonus money for the SX season in 2013!Woohoo No wonder he's ready to call it a career! Either that, or Kawi is saying "Listen son, you ain't racing outdoors, we can't pay ya"Dizzy

Why do people keep saying he is calling it a career that is not even close to being true but he has made a lot of bonus money for sure.

That's awesome! Win bonuses are huge.

I heard the reason Kawi let RC and JS go was they couldn't afford to keep paying out those huge bonuses.
I have no idea if that is true or not, but it could be an issue right now with RV.

Yea, but that was just SX bonus $$$. I bet with his Kawi salary, other sponsors and the outdoor c'ship, he cleared about 10 to 15M in one year!

Yup, he's clueless. Most of the euros don't seem to understand that these guys have 2 disciplines to train for. And most of the training goes toward SX. But this is exactly what i expect from guys who kiss cheeks and call each other mate. I wonder how many of us mercians (retarded by the way) go on MXGP sites and down play the Euro riders. I know i don't give rate azz about doing that.
Must be jealousy.
How fast would they be at mx if they only focused on training for that year round ?

...according to Carmichael, one million bucks for the championship is low nowadays, he says it's more.

But between three houses, a practice track he still leases from Langston(maybe), giant rock star tour bus with driver and fuel, water trucks, bulldozers, Aldon Baker, practice bike mechanic, Lloyd's of London disability insurance, 10 percent of everything to the agent, how much does he have left???

I'm sure Ryan isn't cashing in change at coinstar yet, but his expenses must be sickening. Stick and ball guys don't have any of that crap to pay for.

Dude I think you got Euros and Aussie mixed up half way through there!

Calling someone MATE is a copy-write Australian saying, aint no kissing of the cheeks down under, well unless a case of fosters has been downed after eating all the shrimp on the Barbie, but not until the croc wrestling is over and the dead carcass is tied it up with a King Brown.

Now get it right you flaming galah.

They wouldn't even put that in their socks. They just won't play like the basketball lockout and demand to be paid. And guess what.....they were all paid more to end the lockout....

We shot all the Drop Bears, they kept drinking all Queenslanders Rum. The local government up there declared open season on Drop Bears and within 32 minutes they were extinct.

Well all but one, the drop bear that started the rum drinking craze by staring in a couple of TV commercials is currently en-caged in a zoo to remind Australian's the dangers of turning animals into alcoholics

Forgot to add the only way to gain entry into said Zoo to see the sole drop bear is by rocking up to the Zoo in the pouch of a Kangaroo. Kangaroo's can be hired for travel very cheap at the moment.

What Aussies did not realise is that drop bears actually fed on Roos. Roos are once again running rampant in the streets of Australia, but are being put to good use as we faze out motor vehicles, for our nations eco friendly transport option.

Seems to be working well.

Another thing to note is that our top Roo Racers (Yes we race them) earned exactly $2,251,540.00 just in prize money this season. If rumors are true, Ryan will be racing a factory Big Red Roo in Australia in 2015 and beyond.
