I'm all for asking top dollar for a bike with a bunch of goodies, but 14,500 for a 250f WITHOUT A-kit suspenders? Not a chance.

I understand your point. It is difficult to explain the amount of value that goes into a full tilt race bike like I am currently looking to sell. Between the countless hours, titanium parts, and other endless hours of R&D... It is more than worth it. That is just in my opinion and absolutely understand that this bike is not for everyone in this industry. The works suspension is optional as well for an additional price. Again, any more info, please email me at mxleib@gmail.com

True, and that does have a huge influence on price. I hope you get every penny. You and Don are good people.

Lol. Rough crowd around here so I've been laying low. Busy working on the 2016 new models. Just finished up the KX450F. It's a really good bike!

Yes, you are correct. It will come with KYB tuned suspension set up for the riders weight and riding level.

If you could turn corners as well as you back flip, you'd be an SX champ yourself.

Where did I flip? I never said it was worth it to me, just that having good parts influences the price.

Try again...

Shane
I made the same comment the first time he posted it for sale in here, and I think it was deleted. So was the link I posted in this thread to the Craigslist ad asking $1,000 less for the same bike. Oh well, I guess I'm out of line.

It's just like a modified car, boat, or truck....you'll never get a return on your investment from expensive upgrades. Especially Harleys...

It is definitely one of the unfortunate parts about motocross. Agree 100%. There is definitely someone out there that will see fit for this bike eventually. Will just take some more patience! Lol.

Lovely looking bike Leibs!

I also agree the actual time put in has to have a value outside just the parts. It's not like it's gonna have been just parts off the shelf bolted up. Lot of money but bet it's a lot of bike!

And a nice bike too. Too bad my bank account doesn't reflect my true worth!

I don't think it's asking too much. Out of my price range yes, but someone somewhere just spent 100k on a stock KX250 with led spokes and Team TwoTwo graphics.

Guess it depends on who you are, for the rules of what you can say or post. Blush

Motor was disassembled and refreshed w/ New Piston and Top-Bottom Bearings.
All transmission internals including kick-start-gear(!) are metallurgically treated.
Refreshed Head including all valvetrain.
The Motor is FRESH.

Ti Fasteners...
Complete Engine kit (Inside and Out)
Chassis Kit including Axles

Vortex Map has Launch Control capability

Brand New Stk Suspension w/Enzo Valving for Purchaser.

All hand assembled by Don.
Just like all of Micheals Rocket Race Bikes.

This is a Fresh Race bike.
For the price...and the simple fact that the '16s are the same...this is a bargain.

Go get your calculator...
Add up a new bike & all those parts...and then all that engine work...
It adds up to well over $22K.

I don't think that price is too high for that bike at all. I know a kid that bought a full blown team green bike with a Frenchie built motor in it for around the same price. It only had about 1hr on it , on a 3-4hr motor. But good god , that was the fastest 250F I've seen around here. The kid racing it said there wasn't much of a difference at all compared to his stock 450 Kawi , if that tells you anything.

If I was younger , faster , and needed a race bike for a good deal , this is one I would seriously consider.

P.S...good to see you back here Don.
