I am currently writing a paper on "To what extent are motocross riders appropriately informed about the correct procedure when suffering a concussion" with four sub/focus questions. I am required to use primary and secondary data, and as part of the primary data i am doing a survey. It will literally take 5 minutes to complete the survey. There is 24 questions in total of the three links, but SurveyMonkey was being shit and made me make 3 separate surveys. I would really appreciate it if you guys could please take 5 minutes of your time to complete my survey! Feel free to share it around where ever you can! Thank you very much for your time.

Some of the questions don't provide enough information to offer a Yes or No answer but well done.
Would love to see the results.

Please share your results, I work at a helmet company and would be very interested to see what you find....
Thanks,
I'd have your best friend consult his son's doctor AND a specialist then ask him for alternative sources so he can research the matter.
People will gravitate to what they want to believe not to the truth when doing research...and (shocker) the internet isn't always a credible source.
drewstaz, you got some 'splainin' to do...

I just read the abstract of your paper. It says that you don't necessarily have to keep a patient with a concussion awake? I'm going to try to read your paper but it's quite long and I have the attention span of a fly. Why do you think that a majority of people think that and where is the confusion? Is there ever a time that you should keep a concussion patient awake?
To answer your question though about keeping people awake with a concussion. The confusion comes from people not being able to discern between a concussion and subdural hematoma. With a hematoma the concern becomes a blood leak in the brain, but concussions require rest (aka letting the brain not focus on unnecessary things and letting it run on autopilot like your breathing and running your autonomic system). Hope this answers your question. I hope this answers your question, and if you want to know more I have no problem answering your questions. Plus there is going to be a shortened published version!
