simple beat Dungey... If JS races high point and goes 2-2 with RD going 1-1 he will be 42 back... if he won every moto from that point on and RD got 2nd every moto JS would win by 6 points I believe.

I have. He needs to score 37 points more then dungey between now and the end of moto 2 at Elsinore.

If I'm not mistaken, he should be down by 36 points (up 14 going into Colorado, then lost 50). If that's the case, he needs to beat Dungey 12-of-18 remaining motos to tie (considering RD gets second place in all of those races). I think that's right.

that isnt correct, you didnt account for the races he would lose... if for example JS won 12 of the next 18 motos and RD got 2nd in those 12 motos and got first in the other 6 (for example) the points would be:

RD 550
JS 532

Bare minimum to tie JS needs to win 15 of the next 18 motos, assuming RD gets 2nd, they would tie at 541, but JS would win with O/A's

So basically like I said JS needs to win 16 of the last 18 motos, unless RD has trouble...but we have way too much racing left to start these calculations.

Well, if that's all they got now, anyone can do their job... Seems the rumor got killed later on via Twitter anyway... Still some chance for good journo it seems! Grinning

Anything RC does that involves racing comes with a got chunk of PR/Buzz, if he would make the decision to enter another race, of any kind I'm sure he would let us know all about it way in advance.

Yeah, a whole lotta ifs.

If James can win 12 straight motos with Ryan on his tail, they would be tied.

At that point, there would be three weeks left to see if Dungey is willing to get out of his comfort zone and take the championship from Stewart.

For the regional, Martin is signed up for 250A and 450A while RC is in Pro Sport and 25+. Won't see any "revenge".
