I bought this bike for a steal the other day after it had been in storage for 7 years to come to find out it had this sticker on the frame, is there anything special about the bike? The bike also came with a title and had fmf graphics before i tore them off.

The sticker just means it passed tech at an AMA event .
Could have been a beginner class

I don't think "AMA PRO" sticker would be on a beginner race. It gets those when it passes through tech. That said it could have been anyone's bike. It could have even been a back up.

I have never been teched at an AMA race. Do they do that for Loretta's or something?

Every time I've seen an AMA tech sticker it's been entered in a pro SX/MX race. I don't think the AMA keeps track of the numbers so good luck figuring out who raced it.

I’d start with the year of the bike, find the ama pro numbers for that year, most likely it’s someone fairly local that obviously rode a Suzuki in the 125 class. Bumpsticks is a local suspension place

Yeah that's an AMA pro racing sticker, but the thing looks like a basically stock 01 in need of some TLC. While it may have been tech'd for a race, just remember, it was a lot easier to get a license then and plenty of bikes went through tech that had riders that weren't necessarily national pro level! Pull the cylinder off that thing and see what kind of goodness you find in there, that will probably give you the best idea of how she was built originally if it hasn't been replaced.

The sticker means that it was molested back in its day.

Several years back I bought a used 1992 or 93 RM125 with an AMA Pro sticker from a bud who had purchased it used from a local shop. The AMA sticker was from it having been raced at the Pontiac Silverdome by Japanese riders. I don't recall if it was a Suzuki deal, or the AMA itself, but a handful of Japanese pros raced the 125 class and the bikes were sold afterward.
