The dirtbike video games have taken huge steps in the recent years but still I would like to see a bit more realism in them.
Everytime I play RDR2, and ride through the insane forest and mountain trails with my noble horse, I can almost taste the feeling how sweet it would be to rip the same trails with a dirtbike. This is the kind of environment we want in an offroad videogame.
In Finland we ride a lot of winter enduro in deep snow during the winter, so when I saw the deforming snow in the beginning of RDR2 gameplay, I went "WOW" and immediately started to dream of blazing the snow trails with a bike.
Just look at the graphics and scenery in the videos below:

Mx games are made yearly, and is only relatable to a small fraction of society. They dont really sell like a AAA title game either.
Unless EA or Activision picks up an mx game, its not going to happen. And if one of them do, its going to suck because both of those companies are plain terrible.
An MX game on the frostbite(battlefield) engine would be killer tho.
Hell, you could just take the existing environment and use that and just change out the cities to be more modern lol.
All I know is I'd play a dedicated "Trail Riding" game.
The Shop
-In the opening weekend the game was released they achieved $725 million in sales.
-That put RDR2 second place in terms of sales in an opening weekend. Sitting in the number 1 spot is GTA V which did $1 billion in sales.
-RDR2 is the fastest selling video game since GTA V. Both games are developed by Rockstar.
-RDR2 already sold more copies than the first game did in the first 8 years.
-RDR2 also broke other records for digital sales on the Playstation Network: most pre-orders, biggest day-one full game sales, and most sales in the first three days.

I would be satisfied with either. Seems like Milestone could have been mildly hinting at an Enduro GP game with the free ride compound in MXGP Pro
There’s something about perfecting a track and sliding into the corners correctly that makes playing so satisfying. I’ll keep supporting mx games but I have had so much fun racing full prototype motogp bikes.
