Well, I joined the millennial club (over 1000 miles) on my Alta yesterday. 1001 miles on it now, with 81.3 hours.
Picture at 990 miles, well, because my number is 990
81 hours, better start thinking about cleaning the air filter...
Use your back, not your legs, when lifting.

But seriously, how is the bike holding up? Do you notice any wear or decline in performance on frame, bearings, motor or battery?
I have noticed no wear or decline in performance on the frame, bearings, motor, or battery. The chain and sprockets are pretty worn, but I have replacements all ready to go. I was hoping to get through the winter on the stock stuff, but I don't know if I can go much longer, as the sprocket teeth are starting to hook quite a bit, and the chain stretches every time I ride now.

The cold and snow doesn't seem to affect the battery life at all, at least the way I do it. I keep my Alta in a heated room off of my garage, so it always stays cozy when I am not riding it out in the cold.
It also starts waaaayyyyyyy easier than my other bike I have set up to ride in the winter, a KX500. Want a good workout? Try to kick start a big bore 2-stroke that has been sitting in 20 degree weather for several days...
In all seriousness, I’m really looking into one of these, they look to be legit.
