Zac needs to kill it tommrow for USA to win. He owns the biggest speed difference vs his competition as a whole out of MX1, 2 and 3. Hunter was in the same ball park and every other 250 rider was in little leagues. The American chances of winning completey rests on him dominating and Seely and Covington doing decent. Really makes you miss Anderson and Bagget right now.

Well Gibbs was the biggest surprise for me today, don't know much about him but he looked really solid. If we don't get on the podium then I hope the Aussies do.

Really the most level MXdN in years.
I concur 100%. Should be some great competitive racing......

If the stars align for us, USA could take it.

Has that been confirmed?
Man that sucks. Same happened last year.
Well at least Germany already made the A Finals.

Hope Max will have decent support next year. He's a good guy and still very fast when he's comfortable

Thanks. Real drag for him. I always have liked his style, or lack of it. Just hard Motocross all the time. He can win anytime but not this weekend. Bummer.

What country was the lapper that collided with Anstie from? His arm looked really bad, it reminded me of KR94's crash.

His wrist looked like it was folded up.

Most level possibly; only 7 points difference between pole and 7th, and the qualification results don't reflect the fact that 6 teams would be separated by only 8 points if we counted the 3 scores, and only 5 points would separate 5 teams.

Since tomorrow everybody is mixed up, no doubt a ride like Osborne, Lawrence and Bogers did will help to secure their team a podium.

2 notes;
1. Feel sorry for Nagl (especially in contract time?) and the Ukrainian rider
2. Even if Osborne's ride was phenomenal, i feel the huge 250 battle in 06 for the mx2/mx3 moto win was still a notch crazier between Cairoli RV Rattray and CP. It will be at the same level if he gets a 3rd (nobody can touch Herlings I feel, and Febvre looks like on championship form too).

10. New Zealand – 18 pts
11. Japan – 19 pts

Looks like that 18 Yamaha is working for Febvre. Cool to see him get his speed back.

Hence the reason why many won't race, lot's of risk for little reward. There is much to lose for the contracted riders.

Happy for team France. I guess the pole/tie breaker is made from looking at the 3rd rider result.

As a former UK (and NL) resident, i am also rooting for their team, who is well known to be due at least a podium since a long time. So ... i am a bit mad that Anstie's lapper cost GB team a (good) spot on the starting grid tomorrow. Starting outside the US team for sure won't help, especially Searle who doesn't already look to have one of the fastest equipments as he used to have. It happens and fortunately the consequences are very limited but as I said before this event results is built piece by piece. Directly to B main may need to be implemented from a 110% something rule, the crash was pretty ugly and could have been much worse.

Last but not least I love mudders but on such events I hope the weather won't be the main factor tomorrow.
This is the easiest best scoring system ever. Is it called "Olympic"?

I don't understand why it isn't used in other series more frequently. Probably makes too much sense and is way too easy to figure out. With the rumor that SX is going to make a change I can still hope..
