MXdN camping

Edited Date/Time 1/26/2012 1:47pm
I plan on tenting it like I did at the Budds Creek one. The only problem is they took the tent camping pass off the website and I sent a few e-mails and called them and left some messages but they have yet to get back to me. Does anybody know what's going on with the tent camping?

Just pitch a tent in between the 70 and 470 freeways, plenty of spots left there.

I'm looking into it now cause I'm also camping. I know you need a pass and it is like $150 for the weekend. I will find out more and let you know.

I don't think they are allowing tent camping. RV's only.

according to the internets, there are over 40,000 hotel rooms in Denver. I'm guessing they all have more toilets and showers than my tent and at a $150 for a tent site, they"re around the same price. Count me among the washed...

I posted this last week too. i just want to drive in and do this on the cheap, was hoping to pitch a tent or sleep in the car. If it is 150 bucks could a bunch of people just go in on an rv spot and put tents up?

Nothing will go cheap, bring money and lots of it. this is the continuation of the raping of the fans.

We were planning to roadtrip and tent camp but after we added up all the costs it was basically the same price to fly and stay at the HoJo.

Southwest roundtrip from LAX $199

HoJo $69/night

Enterprise Chevy Aveo $27/day

Well for me camping is going to be half the fun. The after race party in the parking lot will be raging.

That's what I'm talking about! No way am I getting a hotel! Half the fun is the chaos at night! One of my best friends lives in Lakewood with a indoor swimming pool and 12 rooms but we are staying at the track all weekend! I don't even care if I have a tent!

Besides what fun is going back to a hotel and going on the computer to check gossip on Vital??

At Red Bud, a Vital member who lives on the East Coast asked if he could sleep under my rv at MXdN. I mentioned they got snow last year on those dates.
He decided to make other arrangements.

No, it wasn't Ringer!

We will be camping here at 7200 ft!

Btw if anyone is thinking of going better start making reservations soon. When I checked last week it was getting bleak if you want to be close to the track.

I got plane and race tix, but no sleep accommodations yet.
Is it still $150 if I stumble around drunk all night without any sleep?

Got plenty of time for sleep when I get home.
