Has there ever been a more hyped up and anticipated first gate drop? Can anyone think of one? And this being global makes it even better. Talk about the boards blowing up...

This will be straight fever pitch.

Has there ever been a more artificial motocross track, and event, than the Qatar night GP?
It will only have any spectators because entry is free.

I don't think so, maybe RC v JS at A1 in 2005, but this might just be even bigger, because America is united behind RV to take on the World, even supercross is taking a back seat this weekend to Qatar!

Last two supercross seasons RV has started slow and had some mistakes, Ive got to wonder if it will take a few rounds for him to get his footing.

It's a AMA type track, no reason RV won't do especially well on it.
