That is how you break your opponent.

Fantastic race weekend by the best MX rider in the world. He could've done 40+2 in that speed without any issues.

Was torn as I'm a huge fan of both Tony and Herlings. Jeffrey put up a fight, but Tony demonstrated why he's the best Euro rider ever. Stunning flow and smoothness. Great performance

I'm going to put my neck out here, I reckon there's a fair chance that Cairoli will get a place on the Italian MXoN team.

It's just a hunch mind.

He could ride an 85 and still be good enough to be on the team

There is something wrong with JH because in the first 10 laps he showed unreal speed. Faster laptimes than AC...really strange he put laptimes 10 sec slower after those laps

As long as they don't throw him on the 250 again.

It does cause idiots to rise up doesn't it. That term can change from day to day, track to track, moto to moto, hell even lap to lap. I just like the racing dammit not all the extra bullshit.

Unreal speed would've saw him check out on Cairoli in those first 10 laps and that didn't happen! Cairoli knew Herlings was wasted after the first moto and played a blinder in the second, then took full advantage. Looks like Herlings pushed too much, heat exhaustion took hold and that was it - game over!

No that's Herlings job he knows a lot about riding 85's

I'm a huge fan of both riders but Cairoli simply outclassed everybody today what a race that was !
I think Herlings was burnt out trying to win it to early. We all know Cairoli is the race craft master that's somthing you cannot teach.

That was the closest thing to RC vs James we've seen

It's a perfect comparison for how it played out

Am I right in saying Cairoli is racing against 4 world championship winners?
I dread to think how many others have won Gp's or Motos?
No one can argue he has had to work hard to be ahead in the points this year, I hope he stays well and brings home his 9th championship.

Good to see American riders trying to make inroads into GPs. A-Rod taking points. Mookie was fascinated with a real GP weekend, could he be next to make the jump to GPs?

I'm sure that there is a bigger chance for me to win the lottery than Mookie riding the GPs. It was cool to see him there but he could never do a full GP season since he seems to be a SX only rider.

A-Rod had a good race, 15th overall in his first race. I'm sure that the Portugal GP will be a bit easier for him.

Mookie seems to have a fascination with the European trucks, he was naming things that stood out to him and in his reply he giggled "the trucks".

Just why on Earth would you come on Vital if you didn't want to know who won the GP?

So if that was purely heat exhaustion, can Herlings recover by next week and challenge for the win again?

Tomac took like 3 years to recover

I thought Herlings was going to take King Tony. Herlings just looked so smooth and fast, especially when Tony made that mistake and briefly went off the track. Then Tony seemed to kick it up to another level and "bite the bullet" as Malin termed it. Nice to hear Jeffro (the other Jefro) commentating too.

Bummer that Herlings had his issues, would have been fun to watch these two battle it out until the end. Anyway, even if Herlings wouldn't have suffered from the heat, Cairoli would have been hard to beat today as he looked like he would have had an extra gear if needed. He has been the only one to keep everything on rails through this whole season, that's why he is on his way to his 9th world championship and maybe being the GP GOAT.
