Why didn't any of the factories grab him after his performance last year? What does a guy already in the pro ranks have to do to get some factory attention??? I mean, is the only way to a factory ride to win a bunch of championships at LL or hope DeCoster takes a liking to you as an intermediate?

The reason why he wasn't picked up by a factory is probably because he didn't have sx experience until this year.

Yeah, I can't argue that. And as unfortunate as it is, the outdoors are meaning less and less when it comes to sponsorship dollars...

Well he did crash and hurt his ankle at Vegas. Hopefully that was it, because it sounds like he should be O.K.

The old man once told me...."blue and green should never be seen".. together. it looks alright, but I think about that every time I see that Combo. Gavin has to be pumped to land his first RacerX cover. Anyone know if this is his first cover ever?

Ya thats true... Outdoors arent for big bucks and not as much action...But personally I like motocross better.

A magazine guy told me once, that green on the cover sells! I guess it stands out against all the other fluff magazines. Don't know if it's true, that's just what the guy said.
