Love that guy. I hope he gets a good 450 ride next year and can run up in the top 5 in the 450's.

Can't say I've ever been much of a fan but it is certainly nice to see him being rewarded for turning things around and working hard.

easily one of the nicest guys... I don't give a shit what he did 3 years ago, he's shown a lot of heart the last couple seasons. He's always been a great guy, now you can add great racer to that resume

Yep, Hanny is a good dude.

A few years back or so when he signed his Gibbs deal a lot of folks on Moto Talk were bagging on him and talking the usual shit-talk.Well I posted and said something positive about him and wished him luck.
He then took the time to send me a nice e-mail thanking me for having his back and told me to stop by the truck anytime and he would hook me up with a jersey.
Exchanged emails with him a few times after that.....
He is definitely a cool guy.

I thought it was pretty cool that he took the time out of his day to thank me for having his back.
You do not see any of the other guys doing that stuff (Maybe Alessi when he thanked ProMed/Paul on the podium).
I've always pulled for the guy and will always keep pulling for him.
He is good people.

That takeout on cunningham was very sweet. Hopefully cunningham got the message that he's riding too dangerously.

That video was sick! Him and Kdub are my favorite two guys to watch. I hope his hand is good for the next few rounds. Does anybody know how long of a break he will have before the series heads back west?

Oh, such a nice sweet video of josh "acting" like such a nice young man, with mommy, daddy and puppy doogie. Even the puppy knew not let josh get to his back while he was riding the skateboard.

You know I like the kid. He has spun a 180 with his life and made it for the better. Im a huge Josh Hanson fan. Also I have a theory everyone can be friends off the track. But once you start racing for money everybody is fair game, and you have to do what you have to do to win. If your not winning your not paying the bills during the week. So once the gate drops you kinda put the friendships aside. Im not saying taking people out but rubbins racing last I knew, and I've been on both sides of the rubbin.

In 2006, the one and only supercross we have been to my son was in the ktm junior sx thing. Josh stopped and talked to my kids on his way to the ktm pit. Still carrying his luggage he was super cool and took the time. He is the one guy they remember the most from that day.

Never really liked him, but I can't fault his effort and his awesome, smooth style. Reminds me of watching Ramon in the GPs (but a lot more aggressive!!)

But he kind of reminds of of Ivan Tedesco of a few years back. Took a few years on average rides in mid-pack obscurity to come good, then he lands with PC and suddenly seems unbeatable in the Lites. I remember everyone saying how Tedesco was going to move up and win everything, but he couldn't make the transition. Similar story with Millsaps to an extent.

For some reason I don't think the big bikes will suit him. I hope he proves me wrong though, we can never have too many people challenging for the lead!!

Yes, but for the most part those two you mentioned make aggressive passes to move forward in the field. What Hanny did in this case was to prevent him moving backwards anymore and was clearly out of frustration for Kyle entering his personal space. I like watching Josh ride, but that move really got me fired up.
