Good to see Button back on two wheels. I always liked Button, down to earth hardworking guy, he rode a 125 pretty good too.

I still remember being stoked when I heard he had beat his good friend McGrath at Washougal in 2000 on the 426. That was one of his great rides.

Yep he was at the peak of his career and was running right with King Jeremy more than once that yr.

I remember seeing his pop tuning his 125 at Unadilla one week out of the Chevy van then seeing them at Washougal the next week.

His whole family is very down to earth and this is an incredible feat Jimmy is trying, tip of the visor to him.

Thanks for that Simon.

Yea JB!! Jimmy is a bad dude for doing this. He has worked hard to get back to where he is today. I was there with him when he was laying face down on the track at SD Supercross when he told me he couldn't move and couldn't feel anything below his neck. And now look at him. The guys going to ride his bicycle thousands of miles across America to support others that get injured on a motorcycle. Now that's something we should all support and get behind it.

I for one am so proud of the guy. He got a lot of training and then many miles ahead of him. If you know Jimmy or not, please support this bike ride across America. Go Jimmy, positive thoughts Bro.

Talk about inspirational. Pretty amazing that he's continued to improve over the years. I remember seeing him 5 orr 6 years ago, his motor control was pretty rough & I remember thinking he had probably reached the peak of his recovery - man was I wrong.

Across all sports, he and Henry are at the top of my list for most inspirational athletes.

One thing we have all learned over the years is Motocross guy's are not afraid to take on big tasks and they have a never say die attitude when they set their mind to it.

Best of luck Jimmy, I know you can do it.

Button's win at Washougal was classic battling Larry Ward to the line and giving a terrific post-race interview. In today's era of canned speeches, Jimmy displayed genuine emotion and recognition of his accomplishment. Plus it was punctuated with Fro entering from off-camera to congratulate him! Really great stuff.

As a side note, it was the same day Jason McCormick raced to victory in moto 2, which secured Brock Sellards first overall as well. I remember RC crossing the finish line with his little trademark tip of the hat, thinking he had won the moto & overall. He subsequently rolls the corner to see Chad shaking his head, unaware that Jason was 20+ seconds ahead.

60 miles a day for two months - i hope they post daily vidz from the road.

How cool would it be if some big name hotel/motel and restaurant chains stepped up to help reduce the two months food and lodging expresses Smile
