i almost expected this. he's too good not to be hunting a championship. and with the (ridiculous) PED lunacy he's had to deal with, i'm guessing he's saying eff all of this, i'm out.

i for one, don't blame him (ducks). come back for supercross, i mean why not?

at least for the outdoors, it would be my guess. maybe for good, but who wants to go out like this? i'm sure he's just like, why am i risking my life out here for a championship i simply haven't had the luck to win (because he has he speed).

why not save up and get ready for SX. wouldn't bother me one bit.

I kinda agree with Langston....Be a professional, face the media,
says what wrong or why you pulled off....

I hope he's not "over it" (racing outdoors)...as I love watching him ride,
but I guess time will tell

no but the circumstances seem strange, so only conjecture.

Really hope this isn't the end of his career. Probably just tired of going as fast as he can and still getting fourths and fifths.

i mean he kinda needs a break! not in time, but in fortune. he IS the fastest guy, but he knows everyone sees him as a target, this audience here certainly being part of that, so the embarrassment of his misfortunes this outdoor series has taken it's toll.... that's my guess. only a guess.

I've always been rooting for him, but he's got nobody to blame for his predicament but himself, and maybe some of the people around him who should have been looking out for his best interests. smh!

well yeah, but you have to empathize with this frustration. this is a Damon Bradshaw situation all over again. of course it's their own destiny to deliver on, but sometimes bad luck comes your way. you can make your own luck, but sometimes fate has it's way. for a guy who's the fastest man ever to ride a dirtbike, this season, with all of it's PED nonsense and the nonstop rhetoric of a (strangely) hostile crowd of know it alls, i can't blame him for saying, screw it.

He felt dizzy and disoriented after the start that was red flagged, so he went back to the motorhome.

Both Stewart brothers with Illness?

They share the same trainer.

You fucking Vitards trying to stir up such Bullshit
no not at all, it just seemed odd that he went straight to the trailer (and this scenario has been on many peoples' minds). i mean, we're in a forum afterall, it's alright to have conjecture.

besides, how many trails have you hopped in the last 3 days.

I'm wondering whether the situation with his brother has anything to do with his head not being into it this week? I know it would affect me. I feel real bad for the guy cause his 'back luck' goes back a few years now.

well that's just 100% stupidity. we keep f*cking with this guy, the baddest guy to EVER ride a dirtbike, and we'll live to regret it when he's gone, trust me. i just don't get it. everyone will have suffered a great loss when Jame Stewart is gone, and no one will replace him for at least 10-15 years, if EVER. i'm not even a huge fan exactly, but his skill and speed, well.... listen to other pros (major league pros) give you their assessment. there has never been anyone like him. period.

the FIM should be FIRED if the problem (and aaaaaall of this nonsensical press) is about adderall. slap him on the wrist for not producing a doctor's slip, but beyond that, it's a gratuitous showcase of negligence on behalf of the sport itself, regardless who the sanctioning bodies are.

Fired for enforcing the rules, yeah right. I like Stew he will win some races but his c-ship chances are done. They don't give trophy's for winning practice.

It's amazing that some people still don't get that adderall is a performance enhancing drug. It's also one guys try to claim they need when they don't
