Looks like we're going to have a very interesting day with the weather! This is going to stir up that top 4 I feel like, and as for the Dungey/Roczen battle going on. The conditions could obviously lead to some more mistakes from either of the two and really create some tension from both moto's.

In the 250's it'll be interesting to see how Martin plays this, he's up by plenty of points but is he going to go all out to risk it for a win today?

Going into practice any predictions as to who gets that Oakley bomb for either class? I go with Martin/Tomac (Switching it up).

Will be interesting to see how the conditions vary between the first and second practices..

How about Mitch Oldenburg taking 4th in the mud! Tomac nearly 10 seconds faster than Kenny... Could be a sign of things to come?

Is has to be pouring right now looking at radar. Once this line pulls thru it will be good for several hours.

Wasn't sure how the weather was going to hold up today, but boy it's sounding more and more like the track is just going to get demolished. I suppose we've been due for a mudder so here it finally is. I'm pretty excited to see how it unfolds today.

This rain should pass then it should be okay for the rest of the day. The track is going to rut up bad and going to be a bitch. Going to take a lot of concentration to stay on it for a full moto today. Championship could be decided today.

Wasn't sure how the weather was going to hold up today, but boy it's sounding more and more like the track is just going to get demolished. I suppose we've been due for a mudder so here it finally is. I'm pretty excited to see how it unfolds today.
It will rip the points to shreds,always does. Someones bike is going to throw a rod in protest.

There is a huge sheild of rain over Illinois headed their way. Give it about 4 hrs maybe 5 and frogs will take to the lower sections of track. The french guys will have dinner hopping around the truck tires,lol.

It's strange, I want a good mudder but this track also looks awesome for speediness and hucking big jumps. Whatever we get this weekend I'll be happy... ecstatic if The Dunge wins Wink

The 250 A session only did 2 laps? 3:26 fastest lap time, that will be about a 9 lap moto if conditions do not improve...

it could seriously shake up the 450 points chase- hopefully they both stay on and have no mechanicals, id like to see it go down to the last round!!

This stinks that the first time out for this new track could be ruined by the weather. The place looked pristine on press day.

Mudders are cool but I don't want one with the 450 points battle shaping up the way it has. Angry

My rainfall map shows they got less than .25 of an inch. The rain is over for several hours now and the track should be just extra rutted for racetime.

Maybe this will be the first time the Oakley Bomb award goes to a guy from the B practice.

I can see it now, as usual they give out the award after the second A session before the B group has even run. BUT then a fast mudder effer' in the B group zaps the A session times and they have to send Jen Kenyon to the Valli Yamaha pits to repossess the trophy from Pourcel and hand it over to someone else. Woohoo

The rain really sucks for the track owner counting on paying spectators from Indy to balance the investment in gearing up for this national.

Id bet that that's no mistake. Have you ever been to a mud race? Tracks constantly getting better at warp pace throughout the day

There will be several from 450 group b that make the show as there practice had the best track conditions, many first timers.
