Is Hill starting to do a Jlaw on Dungey? How does Dungey get so much hate/ disrespect from other riders?

He seems one of the most down to earth guys in the pits and certainly one of of not the most dedication, he is also pretty humble and never runs his mouth.

Is this L&M starting to creat drame again and telling Josh to say this to get into Dungey's head or is it coming from solely from Hill?

Dungey is going to be a threat for the Supercross and outdoor titles for many years the rest of the guys should just get used to it. I hope he can pull it off in 2010!

Dungey is maybe the most single minded and dedicated rider in the world right now,
But he seems to be slighly underrated even in the US. I would say that right now he is the best US rider there is? I wouldn't be surprised to see him win outoors this year either.

He is as good as RV, Alessi outdoors I think and he was right on speed with Bubba in SX.

Hill is a cool kid, but i dont think he is in any position to be calling someone out on mistakes, most of his career has been one big mistake until now.

Hill was a lot more reserved in his comments this week after the main event.

Yea he still said enough though, Hill seems like a nice guy too though, it seems odd he would want to start somthing. If anything it will just make Dungey more determined. for two bad days 6th and 4th is pretty good.

So from that, you get that L&M likes drama. I guess I'm trying to figure out your logic. Smile

What did Hill say this time? What he said last time didn't seem to light a fire under Dungey and he actually went back another spot so it seems maybe Hill is onto something.

Larry Brooks will have a sniper on hand again next week to amp up more drama! Didn't you guys know it was Brooks and the L&M team that caused Dungey to wreck?

Hill didnt really say anything last week other than he wasn't surprised Ryan crashed cause hes got a history of it . Thats not really anything other than stating the obvious. I don't really see that as that big of a deal, he was asked a question and he answered with his honest opinion. He didn't really have much time to think about a podium speech he had just got off the track mins before that, looking at in hindsight this week im sure he was a little more aware of what he said.

Now its up to Dungey to use that as fuel for future races and prove he's wrong, it's not as big of a deal as some are making it out to be, he didn't fell apart like a cheap suit just yet. He came back from sliding out in a slick first turn in the rain back to a 6th place finish which is a very solid ride he had last night.

I remember when another racer did that sliding out in a slick 1st turn thing at Daytona and everyone was all over him. 2 races in a row RD has screwed up big in his title hunt. He hasn't fallen all the way apart but the makings are there.

Well... it's good PR for a team who lost stewart to start a rivalry with someone else.... to keep their name in the headlines Smile

Though Hill dosn't need to say anything, just let his results do the talking, he is riding good.

I agree it does some what have the look of Dungey falling apart, but from what I saw last week he litterally got his foot ripped off the bike by a rut edge. Coming into that triple there was some semi deep ruts when combined with a heavily compressed bike, had them dragging their pegs on the tops of the ruts, sooner or later someones going to get a foot ripped off the peg. I'm not so sure that was a mistake myself I would call that a little bad luck mixed in with him pushing the limits. As for the first turn that stuff happens when the tracks get slick, he made a miscalculation on a slick first turn those things happen when your pushing the outside of the envelope. From my perspective Ryans doing what he needs to do to stay in this championship chase, in this sport no ones immune to a bad race or two.

actually I was going off some stuff Reed has said about LB and the atmosphere in the, that there is always drama, and poor attitudes and how Reed is much happier away from it all. Seems like there is always a seige mentality at L&M that they need a rival to feed off...

Considering a lot of people had him as the next coming after A1 and with both Reed and Stewart out, well.... Maybe he was a little too determined last night and ended up down in the first turn and took RV with him.

The same guys that think what they say affects RD's finishes are the same guys who would have pulled off last week and this week if they had been in Dungey's position. Dungey limits the damage when he has bad luck. That's why many dislike him so much. He is a good kid who when presented with lemons,well......

maybe it just seems strange other riders like to highlight a supposed weakness in a rider who won everthing last year in the US and is leading the 450 Sx series in his first year.... when they havn't come close to achieving what Dungey has despite being as talented

I really like Dungey and believe he has what it takes to win the title.I think he could still get the job done if James and Chad were still racing. If I were Josh Hill I would be trying to plant the seed of doubt in Dungey's mind. Before the main I would of said "did you see how deep the ruts are on the triple?"
2/7/2010 8:58am
Larry told Hill to do a little ball bustin' so this place would blow up bigger than Hiroshima!

It's a conspiracy y'all, time to break out a tin foil hat, LB is watching!

So you can only talk or say stuff to get in the other riders heads if you have achieved at least as much as that rider you are talking to/about?

Hill can talk all he wants but it's a long season. He kinda was given a gift win last night. Dungey had 2 bad weeks ans is still leading the points.

It makes for great racing IMO

With all due respect Scotty, if you don't think RD will be on top of the podium as much as RV,, when the Outdoors come, you are drinking JLaws kool-aid.
