So I'm pretty confused right now. I really fancy a rekluse, now been in the uk the only ones avilable to me are the exp 3 for £340 ($550) and the z start £540 ($800). Bike is a crf 450 and I only ride motocross, often rough sand track, but can vary. My starts are not that brilliant and I do stall mid corner which costs me a lot of time racing not having a electric start. So what I'm asking is will it help my starting, will I just be able to twist the throttle with the exp 3 and go from the line? What is the actual difference between the 2? Bear in mind this is NOT a exp core 3.0 just a exp contains plates and springs. Will it actually help me in anyway or form?
Thanks guys

One of the best aftermarket accessories you can put on your bike, period.
If I had a "4 post" CRF...I'd run all the good stuff right now.
Get the CORE EXP 3.0...I L-O-V-E mine. I've got their hub and basket...I won't go back to a stock clutch.
It works just like a stock clutch (no difference in lever feel or pull), but its there when I need it (to lug a corner, or keep the RPM"s low on slippery sections without stalling, etc.)
The Shop
I did purchase the heaver weights that are a $90 option. They help the bike hook up a bit quicker. I use a combo of 3 Red springs and 3 Blue springs as well.
No stalling in the corners yet you still have the compression breaking for the corners and you can tap the rear break in the air without killing the engine. The units gives perfect traction control coming out of corners both in deep loam and hard pack.
You can use 3rd gear for starts.
Paw Paw
The Z-start has way more moving parts and is more difficult to set up proper.
The EXP drops in and ready to go.
On my new KTM I've actually stayed with the stock clutch and not bought a Rekluse because I did have some issues where if I didn't properly adjust the freeplay I had some slipping during a race. Not saying this will happen to everyone but just keep an eye on it and the feel of it, if something doesn't feel right, check your freeplay. But overall it is an amazing product.
Every now and then when I stopped I would forget to take it out of gear, kick start the bike give it throttle and it would take off.
You can stall it, but so long as the install gap is right, its very difficult to do. If the install gap isn't right (as determined by the free play gain at the lever...should be 1/4 of an inch-I'm speaking from a cable clutch perspective, I"m not sure about the KTM/Husky clutches) then it will either stall easily or slip.
The rekluse stuff is very well made and innovative, I think their manual clutch setup is better than Hinson.
The only issue running the exp alone is that you have to run less clunch fibers....the complete core unit is really, really good.
Pit Row
I am doing a New York trip in a few weeks with my girl. You know, the typical stuff, Victoria Secret and some other shopping, maybe a bit sight seeing aswell, if it is on the way to a VS Store . I figured if since i am in America anyway, i could buy something sweet for my bike aswell. And i always dreamt of a rekluse, Especially now that im looking into Enduro-X more and more.
I would like to order a Core EXP 3, but there is no pricing on the Rekluse Page. So i wondered if someone can tell me where i can get a good price for the Core 3? I have seen heard so many different prices, but theres also so many options that i am confussed now, but i am sure someone can shot me an advice.
Regards, Kanista.

Or Motosport
I think they are both rekluse distributors.
edit: I did just look on the rekluse website and they have their prices listed. You just have to put in your machine details from the products page....
