Confirmed by HRC.
Track isn’t really in supercross style, what do you expect from him?

well Tomac is still gonna do Ironman (and not Sweden), so let's assume that Gajser will race the races he's paid for too... perhaps try and set even more Honda records

I'll drop it here ... Team USA is in negotiating with Beach Race Loon-Plage ( Dunkirk ) as preparation for des Nations, how cool is that?!... source MotoVerte.

True its old news ( for us ) however, not for most Americans. Let's hope it becomes some kind of Mini GP...

I just hope the guy doesn't wad himself up. Who was the Euro who came over a couple of years ago to try and race the MEC and piled it up? The track is still pretty much Supercross.

He had MX suspension last time didn't he?

Hopefully he gets some stiffer suspension or uses KR94 base SX set up then goes from there

Yeah he did. But he wasn't the only one that crashed out of that night. Tomac the same night. Roczen the year before. Stewart and RV a couple of years before that. Just to name a few.

Stop making it sound like he was the only one.

This year I bet he won't line up with an outdoor suspension.

Yeah he did, but afaik it was his own fault.
He tested SX suspension on the test track but couldn't adapt in the little preparation time he had, so he preferred to go with his softer suspension. Proved to be an error. I don't think he will make this error twice.

I think he'll be better this time... More patient. I'd say top 10.

He will be fine. No whoops...easy jump combos...the track is tamed down for superminis and the amature all star race...if 13 year olds on super minis can get around the track no problem so to should a multi time world champuon right??

The guy is fast and looks to be pretty good on a supercoss track minus the whoops. I believe he will do well, top 5 is certainly not out of the question depending on who is there. Kudos to the guy for doing it, I'll be rooting for him.

As a big Gajser fan whats the point of doing this race unless you want to come over and SX races in the future. He’s doing the MxDN so his preparation will not be what it should be. His team has no chance so if I was him I would come over and train for the MEC. He himself is bigger than the entirety of his countries motocross, I doubt anyone would give him shit. I want to see him give it a proper go, not do a deep sand race and then a week later travel half way across the world to do a race completely diffrerent than everything he has raced since the last time he was there.

That's true.
But he does have 3 weeks between MXdN and MEC. Not ideal, but it gives him a little time to prepare. Certainly more than last time he did it.

Awesome. Big kudos for taking the challenge.

I really hope he goes to the US to train directly after the last mxgp round, SX without whoops is no joke and he needs time to adapt and work on settings.

With almost all the big guys being healthy, 2 top 10 and 1 top 7 for 7th or 8th overall would already be a win in my book

Cool! Hopefully it goes better than last time, don’t wanna see him get hurt. Though I think this is going to be the tamest track yet at the MEC considering it’s gotta be ran forwards and backwards. So I think he’ll be fine.

Yeah I meant to say weeks. But Gajser has Always dreamed of doing SX so take some time off after the season and come over to the states and do training for MEC. Yeah it has no whoops but your going completely out of your element. At least he has some experience but still.
