It would be nice if they would have hit a lower price point while still offering quality wheels. Most folks aren't going to drop 1200 bucks for a set of wheels.

Where are these wheels manufactured? Are they manufactured by another company and then branded as FX? Do they share parts with any other wheels we are familiar with?

Billett hubs, stainless spokes and stainless nipples? Sounds heavy.

With those prices, my guess would be somewhere in europe.

Talon/Excel sets retail for more than 1200, and they are the industry standard. Wheels are a high ticket item, the user that is going to shell out the $$ for them is looking to spend at least a grand in most cases, so 1200 isn't really that high.

Weight is on par with the Talon/Excel combos, not heavy at all by aftermarket wheel standards. With stainless nipples there's not much worry about rounding off nipples as is the norm with aluminum nipples.

The wheels are 100 % ours, parts built to our spec, nothing is shared with anyone else's product.

FX didn't want to come out with another bargain wheelset, we were shooting for high end, at a little lower price point than the other higher end wheelsets out there. Unfortunately, true quality wheels comes with a little higher price tag than some of the other offerings out there.
