How about adding about 4 more races to the end of the schedule next year. I'm sitting here in moto withdraw trying to get through it by watching football and it's just not the same. January can't come soon enough.

The last thing this sport need is another race added. At this time of the year, almost all of the riders are beat to hell and need some time to heal up.

The gncc and worcs racing both have a few rounds left to follow, there is a lot of good racing there you just have to dig a little more for the info.

Well, if we could have gotten the Canadian Nationals shown on tv down here now like they did a few years ago, that would have helped get through the "empty season".

OK, instead of adding 4 more races to the schedule, how about having a 4 race series starting in October and invite the GP riders to join in. We could call it the Trans-AMA Pro Racing series.

Wish I could help but the domestic schedule is tapped out at 17 AMA Supercross rounds and 12 AMA Motocross rounds. then you have the MXoN and the likely return of the U.S. open next year, then one-off races like the X Games, the USGP and that new Red Bull Metalicross at Pala. There's not a lot of time or money left to do anything more....

But I am already looking forward to January too!

What would you like on that sandwich?

and don't forget a lot of racers go race overseas, giving our friends on the other side of the world the chance to see some of our great racers as well as give those riders a chance to make some good money.

With the German SX series, the French SX series, the Australian SX series and other individual events, there is still lots of racing going on, starting very soon

the only thing id like added on my sandwich is more initiative for riders to race both sx and mx.

Doing the best we can to make "supercross-only" a thing of the past. The live SPEED and NBC coverage helps, and so does the live Internet stuff. But with our SX series beinng so big and long, and the one in Austealia growing, it's still viable for some guys to choose that route, and all we can do is keep working harder.

Honestly, I'm kind of relieved the season is over. I enjoyed watching it (much like an addict loves his or her crack), but I'm also thankful to have my Saturday's back!

This outdoor season was awesome, especially in the lites class. I've been watching some supercross races from last season, and gosh those tracks are so narrow and one lined it's unbelievable.

Long Live The Outdoors!

I know ill get flamed for this but I think the schedule is too long. I would love to watch the Pros battle every weekend of the year, but a 10 month schedule is insane. Find another sport that has a schedule that long (where your heart rate gets above 80bpm). I was actually happy to see the Open closed this year. I know its a great pay day for a lot of guys who may need it, but I just think these guys need more then a week or 2 off before testing for the following years SX.

If a team goes all the way to the cup, the NHL's schedule and the SX/MX schedule are both 9 months, (not including hockey's camps and pre-season). The puckheads will play 80 games through the regular season alone. Guaranteed the heartrates are above 80bpm even resting between shifts.

The schedules are both pretty greulling - and of equal length.

Yeh....I know what you mean.

Those guys like touching each other...a lot...they just "touch" a lot harder than normal people.

Imagine if most MXers hit the ground as much as some of these guys get pasted into the boards almost nightly, how many of them would or could show up for the next event just two days later.

Yeah....I do get your point, Dan.Smile

I'm a little bored too. Maybe I will grab me some icy cold beverages and go back and watch the archived 1st motos that I didn't see. Just a thought..
