So, I heard today that KTM getting Decoster was/is ONLY the tip of the iceberg. From team sponsorships to riders and obviously manager.

This isn't a "I heard and can't tell you post" because I could not get the information out of my source so I don't even know specifics. However, I 100% believe this source. In the next couple of weeks, we as fans will be amazed at what transpires.....

I can't wait!

So what's the rest of the iceberg?! Dungey in 2012 and Pourcel in 2011 to KTM, Cairoli and Musquin to the states....spill it!

It will be interesting to see what unfolds. It will be good to see things shake up a bit.

Can't wait. My guess is that they are winning at least two championships next year. Imagine if they got Reed, Dungey, and Pourcel. Then Musquin and another 250 rider would be a dominating team. My guess is that Pourcel is going to Honda though.

I said, I do not know the rest as who I was talking to told me to hold tight and I will see shortly. I believe it.

Like I said, this isn't a "I know something you don't know" thread. I am just saying i am confident we are all going to see some crazy stuff happen and the shocker of Decoster going to KTM isn't the biggest part.

With the amount of riders names linked to KTM in the AMA for next year maybe things are about to get Crazy!. Just think if another handful of riders a linked to one of the KTM teams for next year we could see a full gate of orange 350s at A1.

Should not have to much trouble winning a title or two then!

Think about this: All the Japanese manufactures are struggling in the US right now. Suzuki couldn't keep their main man, Kawasaki is letting Reed get away, the list is endless. But KTM in Europe is a powerhouse but many of the GP riders want to go to the US to race. Marvin Musquin is the next big thing to be heading to the US (2011) and he just happens to ride for KTM. Long story short, KTM is poised to become the dominant force in US MX/SX. They have the money and they are not scared to spend it. Who better to manage such a dynamic team than Roger DeCoster himself?

Your guess is a good as mine mate! I'm just using a bit of logic along with some known facts to come to my conclusions. TongueThink about it, Everts leading the Euro KTM team and DeCoster heading up the ship in thge US. That's got potential to be world moto domination baby!

Put a group of top riders on the 350 and put that hog on a diet and THAT alone may change the face of MX / SX.

Everyone seems to forget that this is not the Red Bull KTM team from Europe. These are two very different teams and up through this year they had significantly different budgets. Unless if a really big sponsorship deal comes through for KTM, they can afford one top 5 guy and that's it.

Yeah, but I believe Red Bull's deal with Honda is up after outdoors? I can see them backing KTM's factory effort going forward and "swaying" L&M to ride orange as well. So, you'd have James (satellite), Alessi (factory) and...

That would count Reed off of KTM because of Red Bull/Monster, but anyone else really could be a candidate...

All hypothetical, but could it happen??

That's what I'm saying.

Nothing really big is going to happen without a change in sponsors.

But yeah, we shall see.....
