Kind of interesting he took this long before going into such graphic detail about it. Quite modest really. And absolutely insane he won his first race back and the championship. There can't be many Euros in the history books that have won a SX championship first attempt, off the back of that injury makes it more nuts.

If he is smart he will stay in MX1.

Deals are hard to come by in the U.S. and he has a track record.

No doubt he is fast though. He would do well in MX1.

Cool video. I have always had a lot of respect for Christophe. To come back from such a serious injury and be successful at the highest level of the sport says a lot, not only about is natural talent, but also the strength of his will.

Unreal! So much respect for him, both on and off the track. He has fought so much to be able to ride - you can tell he truly loves to ride, whether that's racing in the US or Europe, or just cruising in the woods. I like how he isn't influenced by other people or the public; he just does what he wants and that's kinda cool.

I was at the race at Moneyglass, Ireland in '07 when he crashed, it was nasty and looked serious. A couple of weeks later my brother unfortunately went into the same hospital with a pretty serious hip injury after a crash, and the doctors and nurses were telling us about "some French racer" in a few weeks before. Pretty strange!

I believe CP377 can battle with the best of them in 450sx, He is smart and hopefully that's what he will do.

By far my favorite MXGP rider and one of favorites riders in the US when he raced here. His story and journey is amazing. Stay on the gas CP377.

His surgeon shown in the video, Dr Dufour, deserves props too. This guy is a good rider himself and saved a lot of careers in Europe, and is a totally cool guy.

I don't think that you can compare what Christophe has been through to Trey's injury. He substantially had no paralysis, and seems to have no lingering affects so far. Credit to surgeons that know their stuff, though.

Trey has always respected Christophe and his skills.

I watched CP377 race at Thunder Valley in 2010. He has amazing corner speed, and line choice! hope he finds a way to race in the USA in 2013.

One interesting part was the doc comment about the mental aspect of it. Not sure if that showed in the translation but he commented on the fact that a lot of riders never come back 100% after a big accident. He sees that a lot in road racers. They just can't give that little extra that makes all the difference.
