I have attended Budd's Creek for several years and this year's attendance was by far the best I have seen since the MXoN. I'm not sure what caused it but it was great to see the fences lined again! To those who were there...agree, disagree? Lemme know.

Not sure about Budds but High Point really seemed up this year. Think either has to do with losing Steel City?

I hate it when too many people show up at shoug. I've been going every year since 97 and it seems like every year more and more people come just to... I dunno stand in your view and not even watch the race. It's all good I guess though. Damn, I sound like a grumpy old dude.

I was at Budd's Creek for the MXoN and from what I saw on TV it didn't look anything like it. Looked way down to me.

I think it was down. Camping area seemed less crowded too. Maybe campers are more spread out now though. Going by how "thick" the crowd was around the fence, Muddy Creek seemed more crowded.

It was my first time there and definitely won't be the last, I had a great time! The track was beautiful , I've been to south wick and unadilla and Budds creek by far is my favorite

The MXon was the largest crowed that I had ever seen and attended at Budds! It was so packed and so hot. I wasn't able to attend the race this year, but on TV it did look a little sparce

I'd been to the 99 MXGP - about 1500 there and the 2007 MXDN - about 65000 (?) - I'd guess this one about 8-10000.

Kind of puts things in perspective when you read that the British F1 GP attracts a three-day audience of over 300,000.

Around 85,000 spectators turn up just for fridays practice, and we wonder why we struggle to compete for TV coverage etc?!

What is a typical attendance at an NBL or NFL game? The average Premiership football attendance is about 35,000 a game, although closer to 75-80,000 at the top clubs like Manchester United. A British Motocross National probably struggles to attract more than 3,000, at a guess.

Perhaps I should have worded my original post differently. I was not comparing the 2013 attendance to the 2007 MXoN. I was saying that I haven't seen a crowd at Budd's as large as 2013 since the MXoN. No crowd for a national will be THAT big. That was an epic weekend for sure. We sit in the same place every year and from our vantage point the place looked more full this year. Either way, we had great weather and great racing. Can't beat it!

Those photo's seem to imply that is not correct.

The Youthstream number of 500,000 was equally exaggerated. LMAO

no way mxon had 65k+ it would have taken the people there a week to get out. anaheim stadium holds 45k and that's a lot.

It's weird, within ten minutes I had one guy tell me crowd looked really low and then a guy say that crowd looked great.

So myself, I'll split the middle and say it was very medium.
