Am I the only one that listens to Ricky talk about the hardships and difficulties that prevent guys from winning...and he is the guy that kicked losing in the balls. It would be so easy for him to say, "He just doesn't want it bad enough". I'll hand it to him...he's been there and remembers the blood and guts it cost him...as the victor. To recognize that others paid that same price but didn't win...that makes Ricky pretty damn special.

I've always admired RC's view towards racing/winning. You hear so many guys say "I'm just going to focus on the positives and forget about the mistakes" etc etc but RC would absolutely obsess over his losses and mistakes. They would eat away at him and boom the guy would go out and rip off a perfect season. Now that Bubba has opened up more recently he seems to have had the same mindset. It's the fear of losing that drives their desire to win.
Interesting to hear RC talking about how he couldn’t beat Reed at San Diego and the one time he got close, 05, he was trying to make a run to get close enough to take him out, but crashed.
Listening to him talk, it’s so clear that getting second hurt bad! You just don’t hear that level of drive from riders much anymore.

It's insane, I go to Anaheim, San Diego, Vegas, and Oakland, and SD is the only venue that has no food or drink in the pits. No drinks sucks, but no food too? Kinda sacrilege. Currently sitting in the stands double fisting. 🤷🏼‍♂️
How much are the beers?
Each beer is the price of 2 twelve packs of Pabst. Lol. Like 15 bucks. They're tall boys though, so ya know, totally worth it.

I'm a fan, but I'd like to watch all of the qualifying sessions.

Judging by the way the track is looking after the "late afternoon watering"...I'm wondering if the 2nd round of timed sessions are going to be any faster...?

This track looks slick AF. Throttle control is going to play a big part in staying smooth & consistent without sliding out our washing out the front end.

If I am a professional SX racer and I am in Group C practice and I hear Dan Hubbard call me a “C rider”, I would key his car

You know what would be better than keying his car? Rubbing it in his face by making the B group.

I don't care if you love or hate Craig...he is killing it. Forget age, experience, or history. He is riding a dirt bike on an SX track about as good as it can be done.

I’m liking that flat turn after the whoops.
Riders are having trouble doing it clean every lap. Sometimes basic is better.

Looks like A Mart is getting plenty of excercise... so thats a locked front brake, and a thrown chain , in the first 3 rounds.. if the mechanic wasnt under pressure before, he is now.
