Reed.......my point was its hard to judge watching lap times but 4 seconds back isnt pressuring. he imploded all on his own it would seem.

How can you honestly say that Reed pressured Stewart into a crash? Stewart caught and passed Reed and pulled four seconds on him. I dont know what kind of pressure you are talking about but the only pressure on Stewart is coming from himself. Reed gave Stewart his best and Stewart pulled away. No pressure was applied by Reed in any way. Quit with the "pressured into a mistake again" BS.

Exactly...Reed wasnt even close to pressure him into anything. At that point Chad probably accepted second and figured he could get another win in the next 5 races. Which is smart on his part

Reed but not because he put pressure on James...I am not saying James doesnt throw races away. But this isnt from Reed pressuring him.

Dodging the question huck? When the series is over, not matter who wins I will tip my hat to either of them. But, honestly do you really think chad is the better rider? Chad wins because Stewart crashes. Not because Chad catches, and passes him. He hasnt won that way in since...wait for it, wait for it

We are still waiting for that to happen. And win it does I will say Chad earned it.

Chad wins because he is a BETTER RACER.

Well 8 races to 3, who really is the better racer? When the checkers fall at Vegas that will tell who the best is. All this back and forth BS isnt proving anything. The championship will go to the best be it Bubba or Reedy. I still want to see Reed run him down and walk away. Until that happens Reed hasnt proved to me he can beet Stewart with out him crashing.

The way it seemed to me was that James crashed while he was gapping Reed.So you would have to say that while riding at that pace he made a mistake.Chad rode at a pace where he didnt make a mistake and therefore won the race.End of story!

Makes for exciting racing doesn't it!

I had to join just because of this post. Not tryin to step on anyones toes but i have some views on this. Ask anyone about the year Tim Ferry won the championship and didnt win a single race, who was the best rider in that championship? Not the guys who got second or third at the end of it all. Ive always been taught that the fastest rider wont win if hes layin on the ground. For damn sure Stewart is the faster rider no doubt. But the better rider?, thats a tough one, what do you base it on. Historically stewart hasnt been a complete package and his lack of championships shows that( compared to past heros of the sport who have multiple) I think anybody would say that stewart was and is faster than Carmichael, the guy is a beast, but would anyone say he was a better rider, i dont know so much about that. I think raw speed is being placed above all the elements that it actually takes to do what they do. You need a complete package and right now its seems that reed has that on his side, Also to say that stewart wasnt pressured by reed is ridiculous. Right now stewart is under a ton of pressure. Theres 5 races left and Reed has a lead and Stewart knows that hes gonna be consistent so he is going to try to make something happen. Hes basically in a do or die situation in this and no matter who you are puts alot of pressure on you. Anyway carry on guys. Have a good night and enjoy the rest of this season and just know that in 5 more races who ever has the number 1 plate in my eyes will be the "better" rider.
