Gotta love the story...
This is BOS official release after A-Rod was "injured" in Lommel.

"Anthony Rodriguez sidelined for the next races

Back in France, Anthony spent time to evaluate the gravity of his lower back injury.
After a medical check-up, the good news is that nothing is really serious or demanding a surgery.
The bad news is that the injury on the muscle will need rest and physio for at least a couple of weeks.

Without time on the bike, Anthony will not be able to line-up in Imola or Uddevalla, for the next MXGP races.
So the goal will be to be back at 100% for Turkey.
The all team wish Anthony the best recovery."

Obviously, their wishes came true since A-Rod ran away as fast as he could and is racing Imola this we for another team...
After Searle escaping to KRT, the BOS team saga looks more and more like the new season of "I'm a celebrity, get me out of here"!

BOS FACTORY AND RODRIGUEZ SHAKE HANDS

Anthony Rodriguez : "I love Europe and the MxGP is really where i want to race. Thanks to Olivier and the BOS Factory for their welcome.
After my back injury in Lommel, i stayed in Belgium around the KEMEA team with all my friends and even tried to race one small race in Belgium with them.
it was a big mistake from my side, not respecting my BOS FACTORY-KAWASAKI Europe contract.

I thought i would be faster on another bike and wasn't.
I thought my back will allow me to race at 100% but it didn't.

i really apologize for this mistake, and now i prefer to focus on the future"

Olivier Bossard "Anthony has all my respect. It's tough to race professionnaly at this level and we did what we could to please him by giving him the opportunity to come and race here in MxGP.
I'm sad to see him react like that and we all miss the Anthony from last year also.
But at one point, it's not the bike and he has to admit it.
the 450KXF is an awesome bike, and our technology added to it scored this year 10 top 15 in MxGP + the leadership in the British Championship.

What he did is unacceptable for the team, the sponsors and the people working daily at BOS Factory.
I'm also sad to see other teams signing riders without asking an official realease.

But i will never block a young racer to do what he loves the most.
That's why we directly found a gentleman aggreement, allowing everybody to move forward"

Anthony will be allowed to race with another team starting the MxGP of Italy in Imola

These are two separate and very different matters.
So, yes, and probably not.

Do you feel BS FACTORY would be a more accurate name?

There's more to this than meets the eye, plenty of shenanigans all around they're team & riders
who do they exactly still have actually riding their bikes ???

They are the Bolton Wanderers of MXGP I think, any football fan in England will get the gist.

The riders don't Knob off if they're getting paid on time, I wonder what's happening here as there doesn't seem to be a team anymore ?

Regardless of the clown show at BOS, Anthony didn't do himself any favors in the eyes of other perspective teams. With as much as he hits the deck, I'm surprised anyone would invest their time or money. I saw him wad up in the first turn at a GH national when he was on Star Yamaha. It was ugly and I honestly thought that was the last race of his career.

Well Bobryshev is hurt, Searle broke out and now Rodriguez escaped too.

Yup, and last year they had trouble with Paturel before the season even started. Tixier also didn't finish the season for them. It's starting to become clear who's the problem in this case.

After A-Rod told Matthes in a rather diplomatic manner how he felt BOS is more of an empty shell than a team, BOS'boss Bossard blew a fuse and posted an amazing rant in which he states that his ex-pilot is a lazy, overweight, slow, picky, uneducated, unprofessional tourist, liar and pussy.
Love this show!

Since the original FB post is in french, I did a quick translation for you...
Enjoy!

"To hide away from your responsibilities, you talk.
You say you're a professional rider, but are you really...
When your training bike’s hourmeter shows 2.4h after 3 weeks of preparation for your return in GP.
When you spent your time visiting the South West of France and Spain for two weeks in the car your team lent you to go train.
When you behave badly with the people who have welcomed and hosted you.
When your scale shows at least 5 to 7 kg more than it should.
When you can not make a fast lap because your handlebar is 2.6 mm too far back.
When you can’t ride because the sole of your boots is 2 millimeters higher than you want.
When on your first day of riding your boss already has doubts about your ability to move forward.
When you question a bike that had several top 10 with other riders before you.
When you think you are a great developer and after three weeks of wading, you find out that the bike provided on the first day is the one that suits you best.
When you explain your team you know you’ll make the top 5 and that you’re 13 seconds a lap behind.
When you lie to your team, explaining that you have back pain when you realize that you are a laborious 25th in qualifying.
When you struggle to jump a table that an amateur would whip over for fun.
When you can’t last longer than 15 minutes in training.
When you’re almost 7 seconds a lap slower than a retired racer on your team’s practice track.
When you are scared of your bike’s power delivery.
When your teammate, who has been a real top 3 pilot in this category, is surprised by your behavior.
I could go on and on with this list.
If I accepted previous riders comments out of respect for their work and their involvement, I can’t take it from you.
In my whole career amidst true champions, I've never seen such a liar and pitiful rider."

This fight between the team and ARod is not what I wanted to see, and Olivier B. trusted the former boss from CLS Kawasaki to build up this team in 2019 and that didn't worked out. That is his mistake.

ARod his mistakes are that he was indeed slower then Pierrick Paget (the retired rider if I'm informed correctly). That isn't really something to be proud of. That his changes on the bike didn't helped him to produce better results was also something we've all seen and we've have also all seen that Tommy Searle his best results on BOS were quite the same as on the KRT Factory team (In begin of the season scoring seventh in ARG then 12th in GBR combined this with the injured riders who weren't riding at the end of the season and you see what I wanna say)... So was it the bike? No ARod said it himself the bike wasn't the biggest the problem, but he kept moaning about the bike and didn't even put in the work.

Then saying your back is hurt, but riding the Belgian Championship on the Yamaha Hutten motor. Dunno what to think about that. On Yamaha, the results went a little better, but if he really needs to have a professional team like Hutten around him to score those kind of results... Then he better hang up those boots. Hutten will be the Factory Yamaha EMX250 team in 2020, that isn't a fluke. So again if he needs a team who is organized like a factory team to score his best result a 14th in the Grand Prix of Turkey where even only 25 riders started, he better hang up those boots and start working or studying. Teams who pay and give you free material are already a gift from god.

What bothers me with A-Rod and BOS is that we've heard these vague interviews multiple times now. Either spill the beans or just move on and don't continue dropping hints here and there.

Yes BOS seems to be a minor shitshow, but make it clear for the public what exactly went wrong.

I should've said his biggest mistake. I've also the idea that Bossards thought you could give a rider a bike, suspension and that it would work just like in the MTB Downhill world. But I think with some research we could probably write a book about the Do's and Don'ts when starting a team looking at this one case haha.

PS: You're Frenchie you probably even know more about what went wrong.

Well, as far as his side of the coin is concerned, Bossard's post is pretty detailed.

For the rest, I guess you can say everything that could go wrong went wrong.

Two sides on every story. It’s not like they have a good reputation with Bobryshev, Searle, Tixier and Paturel in the past.. I saw Tim Mathys and Steve Dixon had their opinions about it. They state that team managers/owners need to be respected and that the world needs each other. I think that is correct. Now we will have two rides less in mxgp

Do you really believe that the back injury was really an excuse from Anthony whose career was already in a tough spot, or do you think it was a BOS story to cover up YET ANOTHER rider breaking their contract with them?

It is kind of hard to believe all of Olivier’s claims when you can see people like renowned rider, Eric Sorby, posting and commenting on social media about how hard Anthony works to achieve his dream.

When you have a team secretly replacing parts and not letting the rider know- their safety is at risk and that is not worth ANY FREE MATERIALS OR MONEY.

Also, how many riders can switch to an entire different bike and compete against the top athletes in the MXGP class who have been riding and training with the same materials for an entire year. Give me a break dude.

I have a lot of respect for team owners, it must be hard work to keep a team running with all the costs involved and little opportunity for sponsorship.

Having said that i am really surprised by what BOS has been posting online in the past year or so and feel they have been very amateuristic and showed very little respect to a bunch of (former) riders in those posts. Not sure if it is that bad that those 2 rides are gone.
