Hey guys, I don't post here much and pretty much lurk most of the time, but this is something that just needed to be posted.

My good friend and all around great guy Dan Fitch had his box van broken into and bike stolen last week while staying in Springfield, MO. Dan is the Brand Manager for Moose Off Road and as I mentioned just a great all around guy. Dan sent me the following email with pictures from the security camera from the hotel and I wanted to share in hopes that someone might know this ASSHAT and call the PD.

The following are a couple pictures of my bike that was stolen and the pictures of the guy involved with the theft. His address shows KC area but I think he may have moved to Springfield MO area. The truck they used was a late model Ford Rapter or customized full size with wheels and tires and fender flares along with possible custom grill color either silver or white. The trailer is a 24” to 26”dual axle fully in-closed car hauler with no markings on the trailer color white. My bike is a 2008 KLX450 with Moose accessories: Moose Maneuver Hand Guards Green/Moose Logo Clutch cover/ Moose Polyester Skid Plate/ Ankle saver foot pegs/Yoshimura Exhaust/ Pirelli Tires with Monster Graphics and #48 Yellow backgrounds. I’m offering $500 reward to the person that can return the bike. The guy in the photo’s name is John Bosco so anyone that has contact with him please call police ASAP. The Springfield Police # is (417) 874-2149 Detective Calhoon case # 12-45787.

Thanks guys. Appreciate the help. Nothing worse than a thief except maybe a liar.... Fitch is one of the good guys and this sucks to see it happen to him.

So if we know who the guy is how come the cops don't just go check his last address and bust him? I'm sure there is a reason why not just curious. I'll try and keep an eye out up towards the KC area.

According to Dan, the detective straight up told him that they are overwhelmed with cases and would get to it when they could. Dan is the one who provided them with the guys name and info from the hotel records. They were going to do a drive by his last known address but I guess the shit bag has moved...

I don't have it. The hotel provided it to Dan. He's done most of the detective work so far.

Vibes bro, I know the gut wrenching feeling as well. Wish I had some information for you but I don't. When my house was robbed in Reno last year, EVERYTHING was gone. The only thing I had left were the clothes on my back, cell phone and my car. Just try to look on the bright side, a dirt bike while expensive, is relatively easy to replace. Your buddy and you sound like nice guys, don't let it get you bent out of shape.

I'll keep my eye out in New England though.

So this guy drives a $60,000 Ford Raptor and is stealing bikes?? Business must be good. I hate to hear about that. Hopefully he gets it back soon and in one piece and those responsible are prosecuted to the fullest extent.

I'll do what I can to look this guy up and DM me with anymore info you may have. I'm a local MO rider in KC area who happens to have a side job as LE for KC.

Obviously, I can't post any details on here but will try my best if this guy is located in KC to get to the bottom of it.
