Mike Alessi, was very good, just maybe not consistent enough. I did watch Mike dice it out with Antonio Cairoli (pic of both on 350's) for...

I did watch Mike dice it out with Antonio Cairoli (pic of both on 350's) for 1st and 2nd at the 2010 Glen Helen MXGP, neither rider coud pull away, changed the lead many times, probably some of the BEST MX Riding I have ever seen.

Thanks Mike for the show!

It probably did't help when he was run over and got injured.

I was there at that GP at Glen Helen. He didn’t dice anything out with tony. Tony literally slowed down and waited for him, let him go and got back by him. He was literally playing with mike that day.

Since MEC numbering system isn't aligned with SX, will he run 800 or his earned 76?
he will run 800 since its a non-ama event.

Has Alessi ever raced a 2 stroke professionally?

Didn't he race a GP at Matterly Basin not too long ago on a two stroke? He didn't do well at all of course. I never understood the logic in that.
The track for the MEC is hard pack. Four strokes hook up way better and are way more stable on that surface. I think racing the MEC on a two stroke is a mistake for anyone. I have nothing against Alessi and I applaud him doing something different, but I don't think it's gonna pan out at all as far as results go. That's my guess.
Bro, he’s hoping to just qaulify. Nobody’s talking about 2 strokes beating 4 strokes. It’s about people wanting to see the 2 strokes back in professional racing.

He's in it for fun, on a bike that was made way back when MX was all about fun. I think it's fun!

That Fetzer valve has been prepped with some 3-in-1 oil and some gauze pads.
I'm gonna need about 10 quarts of antifreeze, preferably Prestone. No, no, make that Quaker State.
