Jason is awesome, and I can't wait to see him on the Kawi! I think him and Adam will be great teammates. My post is just for good fun, but I do hope Adam has a break out year and stays free from injuries, and in the hunt for the title.

From what I’ve gathered, he’s already hurt….

Word was he hit the ground around a week ago at a public track and was banged up.

Love the guy too, and would pull for only Kenny over him… but my man cant stay off the ground. He’s pushed his front end for 10 years now. Dude needs to slow the rebound down a few clicks.

Yes. Without injuries of course, I don't see Jason beating Webb, ET, DF, AC, Roczen, or Sexton. I dont see him beating others either, but that is six in front of him. I hope I am wrong and we get to see 8-10 battling at the front, but it rarely works out that way. By round 3 we will know who the top 3 players are.

i dont get why people are hyped with jason anderson. i mean hes a great guy, no1 guy to hang out for a beer judging from his vids but that doesnt make him title contender, hes always been half a step below top guys.

Hasn't been the same since then either.

Edit: Dylan also finished ahead of him in the points this year.

Anderson is the fastest 5th-3rd place guy there has ever been. I think he still has DF and Sexton covered in supercross though. We’ll see how it goes this season though

he’s still been a podium guy ever since the title. Less wins though

He will be the top Kawi in the points come May. Stamp it.

Correct, and Jason hasn't won since 2018......meanwhile DF just won the outdoor title. I didn't say they would win either, just that they would handle El Hombre.

Yep…that’s the year everybody got hurt or had massive issues. He was the one left standing. Not to say that’s still not impressive, butt…

Maybe I’m wrong, but Jason has just never shown that “in it to win it” attitude or commitment most of the other top-10 fast guys show.

Let's be honest tho, Anderson had one win in his bag last year until his seat came off, really unfortunate.

Judging by your screen name, you should be a fan of that.

Love AC as a rider and wish him all the success this season. But I think the more likely scenario to play out is, Eli shows us all what he can do when riding for a team more willing to make any changes necessary to the bike compared to what Kawi has been willing to do.

All that said, if I'm putting my money where my mouth is, my 3 biggest threats for the SX title are: Webb, Ferrandis, and Sexton in that order. I think Eli is out for moving up in the record books. I still have concerns about Ken's health in certain situations. Barcia will be in the discussion in many races, but don't know if he can ride clean for 17 rounds. AC is great but can he stay off the ground? Lots of potential single race winners this year.

Doesn’t matter. You could say that about a lot of 450 titles in the past. No asterisks in this sport.

I think if Adam stays off the ground, he’s the fastest guy out there.
