So the reason that was cited for Jason Anderson not riding for team USA was a back surgery that was to take place directly after the outdoors. We’re a couple weeks out now, he’s ridden the 23 KX250 at the new bike intro ironically enough, and he’s even at Red Bud signing autographs. Is he still getting that procedure done? Was it bullshit because Kawi still doesn’t support the event? Any update on this would be cool.

He didn't ride for team USA because he wasn't picked to ride for team USA

Have you seen Jason's new wife Kenzie?

If she was around, I would throw my back out too...

Pretty sure he’s already had said “procedure” & is rehabbing & preparing to start testing his “new” 2023 KX450SR

But, I could be wrong. Grinning

I mean, he could have already had it done. I doubt it required bedrest for weeks.

He was in the running for the 250 at one point, not 450.

Back surgery has come a long way in the last 20 years.

The 2 I had on L5 in the late 90's/early 00's, I was inpatient for almost a week for each.

My last one on L4 around '13 I was in and out the same day. All 3 were the same procedures.

It has definitely improved.
