Am I doing something wrong? I've been trying to find some races online and I've pretty much had zero luck. If I get lucky, I can find a race against 1 person. I let it sit for about 45 minutes last night and never saw another person. Are people just not playing online?

I actually found a race earlier with 5 other people. By far the most I've raced against.

My handle is tlw109. Same as on here.

Tried to race online again last night and spent an hour to play 1 time against 1 opponent. I received an invite from dwilcox but when I tried to accept it, I got a message saying the session was no longer available. Very frustrating trying to find a race online.

I raced about 20 races online yesterday with full gates in most all of the races, then raced in "private sessions" most of last night. Had a blast when all of us decided to race 125's!!..
This was on PS3...

Ive been having pretty much the same issues.

I switched to a different modem/router and it went away.

If you are running your PS3 wireless, try running it wired direct to your modem. Either that or if you have a different one try that.

From what i can gather the game wont let some routers connect to each other. So if you are trying to get into a public game and someone in there clashes with your router then you cant get in.

I was having all the same dramas with getting put into a game on my own and also not connecting with certain friends on my list.

Hey guys another Aussie here who just recently got a PS3 and Reflex. I'm still learning but do you guys mind if an old hack joins in and joins you?

I'm having trouble getting races online. Sometimes I get straight into a race but other times I can be in the compound with 12 other riders and a race doesn't start. Why is that?

Other times I get in as a 'spectator'!!! WTF. I wanna race not f**kin specate!!! This can happen even if there are only 2 or 3 other people racing...... I don't get it......

Anyway maybe if we start some private races I can avoid all this crap. And avoid the tossers who just pin it in the first corner and wipe out the field....that's not me....

My username online is NELSO_19. Some un-original dick stole my MCfan4life name from here.

Thanks goon. Are you mxgoon on PS3? I've been doing some public races and steadily improving.

Lately I've playing MX Pro online but after each race I get sent back to the compound and told all riders have left the event. Anyone have any ideas why?

Also, sometimes you can be in the compound with 11 or 12 riders and a race won't start. But sometimes a race will start with only 3 racers!! I don't get it .... Huh

Something happened last night that I hope is not a trend to come. We had a full gate at Kingston 2 last night (Pro MX), and for once, I get a good start (2nd). The leader checks out and I settle into a pretty good cushion in second where the 3rd place rider is 8-10 seconds behind me. On the second lap, I see a rider just in front of me on the long straight before the finish line. Well, it can't be the leader because he's 10 seconds ahead of me, when I come up on the guy, I see that there isn't one of them, but two. I try to pass the first guy and he turns into me, trying to take me out, same with the second guy.

Neither succeeded, but they cost me a considerable amount of time. The race continues and I rebuild my lead over 3rd place then, on the last lap, I see the two morons again by the rhythm section before the finish line straight. Same deal, they both try to take me out. Fortunately for me, I've played offline enough to know how to deal with kamakazi riders and they both went down trying to take me out. I was pissed, because it let the third place guy sneak up on me, however I held him off.

I know its just a game, but damn this is ridiculous. Probably kids, but I watched them in the race before mine (as a spectator) and they were legit, very fast. I hope this doesn't become a trend. Anybody else had this happen?

So they were in the race? Or did they cut across the track to mess with you?

That's BS for sure. Most people race clean other than incidental contact I have found.

I had a guy leading a race by 10 seconds last night and I was reeling him in after getting taken out 2 times and I come up on him stopped and he waited for the guy behind me to battle with. They couldn't catch me and must have had a slam fest. For some reason I could hear them talking to each other through the TV and I don't have a headset.

Yea they both started the race, but for reasons unknown, decided to drop after the first lap and play bumper cars. Again, when I was spectating their earlier race waiting to join the room, they were racing legit and were pretty darn fast. It's a major deal to get into an online room to race, and once you get there it sucks that some pre-pubescent brats try to ruin it for you.

HELP... I need some help with this online/ router issue. I play Modern Warfare online regularly with out any trouble. Everytime I try to enter a Multiplayer online session in Reflex it takes a really long time to match me in a race -- if at all. when I try a private session and reply to... or send a... invite and accept if gives me that invalid session crap. WTF?

I tried connecting my PS3 directly without the wireless router and it didn't make a difference. Online is still a crapshoot for me.

Well... I think I may have solved my online issues. I found an old Westell DSL modem that I used in my old house a few years ago. I hooked it up instead of the new Motorola one and all of a sudden, I can get into races with 10, 11 and 12 racers. I never woud have thought the modem was causing the issues.
