EVERYONE ADD ME ON INSTAGRAM IF YOU LIKE MY WORK: @factorybuilt_customs

Hey everyone doing another restoration, 2002 CR250, got it for a good deal with a title too. Got it running, ended up being an electrical problem. Then started tearing it apart. Bikes in amazing condition for the age someone recently greased everything up which was a really nice change for once. Piston is pretty black but cylinder walls look good. Has a lectron on it, vforce reeds, few other goodies.

Going to do the usual, full suspension rebuilds with coatings, works pipe, rebuilt wheel set with some coated hubs. Actually just built a vapor blaster out of wood so ill be going ape shit with that thing on this project. If anyone needs any parts done let me know i do this for fun so until the machine pays for itself, im going to be doing really cheap work for all my customers and whoever sends stuff in.

Some pics

And heres my new machine, 42x30, made of wood, closed loop system, fully automated system with press of the foot pedal, wiper, LED lighting, ill post some more detailed shots eventually. But like i said if anyone needs and blasting done let me know i guarantee ill be the cheapest, and im also a small shop so your work will probably be the only stuff outside of my own i have to do so turnaround time is no more than a day or two. Thanks, ill post some pics of the blasted frame tomorrow.

Got the frame done. Had to do a little tig welding, then vapor honed. Came out sweet for a 20 year old frame.

5 horse power 24 cfm 80 galllon eaton, its a huge unit. Works great though it actually out paces the blasting so it will turn on at 150 and then actually turn back off without me stopping blasting so its nice its not running 24/7 like most compressors would be.

Anyone have any input on a fork color to go with? Probably wont do ano as its expensive and it will cut into my parts budget. (Ill be selling this bike when done) i have done black cerakote in the past but i want to change it up. I have only seen one set of cerakoted forks that were brown that i liked, they must have mixed in a ton of catalyst to get it glossy and it was on vital but i cant find it. Any one have any pics or ideas for a brownis/kashima color fork tube color in cerakote?

Lectron is blasted and ultra sonic cleaned, got the masters done. Going to start sand blasting and nickle plating all the steel parts shortly. Then ill be tearing down suspension, full rebuilds, black cerakote with a high gloss cerakote on top.

Thank you sir, not the caliber of your 450, but doing my best. Should be a cool OEM+ style build.

The way people get them shiny is a gloss clear coat, Heres a great video on a set of fork tubes. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dPOTJ71jWIw&t=2s
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rp1ta__jzq8&t=7s
The second video is the same forks once they've dried. I love the color personally and once I get my cerakoting setup ill be doing it to my forks. Hope this helps! Best of luck finishing up the build it looks great so far
