12/11/2013 11:28pm Most of you probably don't remember me, but if you do, I'm the kid who broke his hip three months ago. Anyways, I went to the doctor today, and he was really happy with how it's looking. Finally healing like it's supposed to. Huge relief. Starting physical therapy and walking with crutches very soon!!

11/13/2013 7:04pm I do play an instrument! I've been playing guitar for about 6 years! It does seem to pass time faster. But I do take my vitamins. And i think they're going to put me on a bone stimulator if it's not healing.

11/13/2013 6:31pm About a week ago (this sounds weird, but it's true) whenever I would squeeze my butt it would hurt pretty bad where I broke it, but this week I can do it and feel no pain. I think that might be a good sign. But good luck to your dad!

11/13/2013 5:59pm My surgeon restricted weight bearing for 12 weeks. I've listened to him even though it's hard. I'm a sophomore in highschool and I did race. It's extremely difficult to just lay around and do nothing. Here are my x-rays.

9/25/2013 8:17pm Sounds good. I really want to get back on the bike once I'm healed but I've got a lot of thoughts as to what could happen. I guess I'll address that when the time comes. Do you think I should be surgery free for atleast maybe 5 years?

When I hold my leg up for an extended period of time, it turns a little different color, only when I'm standing and I hold it up. Is this normal since it's just two weeks after surgery?
