Zero Added a reply to Reed

Reed is a fascinating rider from all sorts of angles. There isn't really anyone else like him. He was first touted as the "next McGrath" He put his money where his mouth was and he bet on himself to win the outdoor nationals...and he did. Seem to mix in a title here and there. He's good for the sport no...

Its good to see we are all still complaining about how underpaid all the riders are, are we sure its not 2001 all over again? Smile The more things change, the more they stay the same.

I'm glad to see things haven't changed too much! Fun times and memories for sure, moto will always be just like it is. The good ole days are still here! Enjoy life! And thanks Scottie! Being a Ninja is a lot of fun...super hard just like Moto! If you like Ninja Warrior, Here is one of my Ninja Warrior run...

After a quick stroll through the board I see its alive and well, I am happy to see Facebook and Twitter hasn't killed this place. I'd say 95% or more of the active people on here have no idea who I am, but that is ok. I was (still am) a nobody. Its cool to see everyone talking MX and...

Zero Added a reply to How important is "Network TV" to our sport?

TV is very segmented today. Regular time slots and promoting is a HUGE deal for niche sports. TUF Live did TERRIBLE in the ratings a couple seasons ago, they immediately went back to a pre-recorded show. There are basically two kinds of moto watchers, "hardcore" (people will go out of there way to watch it no matter what medium its...

I often hear the reason we have such rampant sandbagging in our sport is that these kids aren't ready for the Pros or even the A level. But yet in other sports, these kids have little trouble making the transition. http://www.sportsline.com/...ennis/story/10779503 So what is so different between these other sports and Moto?

Whether he is really hurt or not, or whether he is a whiner or not, none of it really matters, does it? I mean, he still has SCOREBOARD on everyone else, and that is the bottom line, isn't it?

Well, the rule isn't really defined..I think you can ride A at any age but not PRO until 16? I dunno. But I am more getting to the point of holding riders back whether it be at the Amateur level in the B class or even holding them back to ride multiple years in the 125 class, when it is...

Either everyone is too lazy to click the link I posted, no one really gives a shit, or no one wants to attempt to rationalize keeping racers at the lower levels longer than they should be. Here is a portion of the link above: [b][i]HOUSTON -- Fifteen-year-old Ryan Harrison beat Pablo Cuevas of Uruguay 6-4, 6-3 in the U.S. Clay...
