4/29/2026 10:09pm You are indeed. Apparently he was already cooked from the initial onslaught of antibiotics during his 7 surgeries following the first arm injury.

It's pretty surprising he hasn't been dropped by any sponsors yet. I get he hasn't been convicted of anything yet but even still anyone charged with dv is a pretty big brand risk

4/29/2026 10:05pm I'm perfectly aware of that, I was pointing out that the example was not ironic. It was simply a coincidence. As I suspected, you have misunderstood and misused the concept of irony, which is seeminly quite common in the US...hence, the reference to Fro in my original post. He is one of the worse offenders. An example of irony would...

4/29/2026 12:29pm I'm pretty sure the late race collapses from Kenny were due to the lingering effects of all those brutal surgeries. Seeing Kenny kick Fat Boy's arse week in week out is glorious...

Coop is just coming to the terms with the hard reality that his season is over. In years past he was able to rattle Kenny, when riding behind him or with podium banter. But Kenny's riding >Cooper's riding. Wishing for a way to "Getting back to old Coop" is telling.

He's as fast as he's ever been. Roczen is finally riding like he was once capable of. No offense to Paul but he's a product of Roczen's t-rex arms and Eli's mental frailties

4/29/2026 12:25pm Absolutely correct. And Cooked Webb knows it...hence why he's got his g-string in a twist...oh, and the fact he hasn't won a single actual race this year (meaning - crossing the checkers first)...

He said it himself in the interview, he wants to go back to who he is and what made him successful, followed by “as the kids say, remember who you are white boy” 😂 But yeah, I think at his core, this is the type of guy he is. Cool off the track, but he’s a prick on the track and to his competitors.

For me when choosing riders I like, personality and how the portray themselves is huge for me in choosing “my guy” I used to Hate Webb, his interviews, attitude, all of it. That being said, he really grew on me in recent years, it started with a great interview where he gave a lot of props to Eli when he went back to Star, and then his pulp appearances I started to really appreciate him and his honesty. This week he was on pulp, and I almost switched back to disliking the guy, I’ll copy paste in the transcript of...

in latest OBS from Mathes..."...and then I walk through the sexton pit and they're totally changing his triple clamps. IDK at this point, man". Also, DB picked up on this and is saying that he's probably leaving Kawi.

I am not a Dungey guy, but Webb wouldn't even have been considered a contender if they raced in the same era

Lucked out that he faced the most inconsistent elite guys we’ve seen this side of Pcs 250 teams since 2005. People trip over themselves to lose the titles since the Dungey era.

What does every single major media member say when bench racing about the top guys. Webb “lacks the top end speed of the other elite riders” Sound familiar? What’s another way to say that? Slower than the other top riders. Now take two letters off the word slower. Slow. Of course this is only when discussing the elite guys. He’s got to be the slowest elite guy of all time and that’s how he’s getting all this criticism and routinely dismissed and discounted. Of course he’s fast compared to me, or compared to the 10th place guy. Nuance.
