Most studies state that to increase the overall endurance and to trigger the right adaptations a constant state of high output is needed for no less than a hour. That is why you see more long distance...

3/1/2020 6:38pm I would focus more on a Calisthenic based program and work on mobility. Body weight is your best friend. This will keep the blood flowing to the muscles and maintain the muscles mass you already have. The mobility work will keep you limber and once you have recovered you will be setup to attack a harder program. I would stay...

3/1/2020 6:28pm You might try pull up bar hangs. Find you a pull up bar (fatter the better) and hang from it. Try and shoot for about 2 min at a time. Go for 3-4 sets. Also deadlifts with a conventional grip help with grip strength also. There are a number of workouts that can help with grip strength that I didn't...

3/1/2020 5:16pm Sprints are good for weight loss and your fast twitch muscle fibers. This will also increase the effectiveness of your nervous system. Long distance running will target your overall endurance and cardiovascular system. I would suggest a combination of both.
