Blair is an emotional guy. I don't think he was hamming it up for the camera. I think he was genuinely upset about how things went and about having to throw people under the bus. It is peoples lives after all, but from his side it looks like he got screwed, but also that the execs running the show don't want the Play by Play guy to be too good(smart) cause it makes Ricky look bad.

I'm glad Blair decided it was time to speak out. Going against a Big corporation is tough, but thing will never change if not challenged. There is so much about this sport that is mind boggling to me, riders having to pay an entry to race, riders at every race getting taken out by tough blocks or other dangerous conditions, privateers not being able to sell merchandise. So many other things that need fixing.

So much for RC's anti bullying messages he posts every august. RC used to be somewhat active on Twitter and you could tell when he was a little into his cups (usually Sunday after a race) he would get into it a bit with fans. he was just as dumb on there, I bet NBC told him to cool it.

I remember watching this back in 2023 and I knew then that RC was genuinely being a dick head. DB played it off really well, but that was some bullshit.

Makes me wish there was a way to order Peacock with zero commentary.

Years ago I had a neighbor, a beautiful young lady who was the 2nd string weather girl at a local NBC affiliate. She told the same type of stories about professional jealousy, behind the scenes political bullshit. She finally left, and is now a top rated meteorologist in a major market.
