Lorretta's is all about families and friends of the racers attending the event, who have a personal investment in being there.

One of the problems with Glen Helen is the fact it's in Southern California, which is a completely different 'beast' as far as a location goes for getting people out to attend a given event. I found $1158 for a non stop round trip from Seatac to Amsterdam, which is just a little over 50 miles further to drive than from Brussels.That's a pretty decent price for flights from Seattle.
