Considering 95% of the people racing are not from the US, why on earth should they run it in the US every 3 years?
That was Youthstream's stated plan a few years ago. After the "success" of the last couple USGPs, it appears that has changed.

Do you think there will be more people than in previous YS race there?

Yep I agree, the place will be PACKED to the GILLS!

It will bring back memories of the USGP at Carlsbad.

Back when fans were truly passionate about the sport. Smile

GH should have quite a bit larger turnout then both of those, I would assume.
The reason the GP didn't have a good turnout was because there were hardly any top Americans racing it and most do not follow that series in a hardcore way like they follow the Nats or SX.
However, the MXoN will bring most of the hardcore guys out, plus many folks from other countries.
Yep agree 100%, plus fans will be traveling from all over the US.

The MotoD has gained a huge folowing imo. While the majority of American fans are not quite as rabid as the Euro Fans, I believe this is changing and it's good for the sport.

I don't get involved in the US vs the World debates, I just luv this race and the atmosphere that comes with it. There is nothing that compares to it in all of Motorsports. Smile

The problem is not finding a facility worthy of it.

There is not a problem with fans supporting it in impressive numbers.

The problem is finding an American promoter with enough stockpiled lube to climb into bed with YS.

Budds Creek had the largest crowd in recent history when they hosted it, and yet it is pretty common knowledge that Beasley had to go in the hole to do it.

Attending a MXdN in Europe is much cooler than attending one in the US. It may be closer, but out of the 4 I've been to; 2 in the US, and Franciacorta and St. Jean, the Euro events were a little more memorable to me.... Then again, I love to travel outside of the US borders, any chance I can.

I expect Lommel to be just as cool, this year.

Once every 5-6 years is frequent enough for an MXdN in the US, imo.
