Where would be the best place...
The best weather....
The best track....
The best attendance...
Most riders to sign up and race (US riders)
Because we already know it would never happen in the So Cal area.
Another Carlsbad, How about Lakewood, Budds Creek, Unadilla?
What do you think, or do you even care?

BUT the hang up is getting some top Americans at the starting gate,I've heard every excuse under the sun, some are legit and some are debatable, crack that one and you could probably put it anywhere and it'd work, especially at the places you mention and it'd down a storm
How much would Red Bull pay Roczen and Musquin to ride or even Dungey? Roczen got hurt practicing SX this year,Outdoors is safer on paper afterall...
coming from the midwest i want to say Red Bud, We all know why... but I don't see the midwest fans being that pulled to a gp, a Cali race would make more sense imo.
It would be cool... but a pain in the ass for everyone involved

We just have to accept there are certain things we will never understand.
Also, the GP didn't work at Glen Helen because they placed it the week after the start of the Nationals, and the Pro AMA guys who were signing up was pretty minimal, which would have helped the draw of American fans to have their favorite racers to cheer. It'd have to be during a better off week during the year, too.
I see a place like Red Budd being a little more successful, because there's not as many options for entertainment, but then again, we're talking about us Americans, aren't we?
East coast would be cheaper to get to from Europe anyway. Although, they have to go to South America afterwards, so it probably doesn't really matter.
The advertising would blow up with them there, and the word would spread, timing is an issue then,as before but with 2 or 3 weeks between Vegas and Hangtown? The logistics couldn't have been easier for the teams but if SoCial is a no then the end of the season would be better for timing too I suppose, but then there's the MXdN?
Round in circles it is then. I guess
btw: Watch at 6:08 (in Part 1) see Ronnie feet up power slide that works 500 machinery, pure poetry.

Great tracks, and gives more of the country a chance to see the riders over the course of a month.
Unfortunately I can't see it ever happening though.
Farmers have feelings also.
Maybe the Southeast, a place MXSPORTS doesn't go, National's wise, it might work there.
They should be starving for world class moto down there.
Where's the Barber museum?
I hear it's a killer place, AHRMA runs there, the track is flat and grass, no AMA around............
The GP he held, maybe 6000 showed.
The MXDN, I heard YS took most all the money,
don't look for it to happen at Budds.
