we will be visting our family in Adelanto , ca Oct 31 to Nov 6, would like to borrow or rent a couple of mx bikes to ride at Racetown 395 track . One vet rider and one young pro level rider would be willing to pay reasonable rate for 1/2 or whole day.

anyone ever use Mxvacations? still looking for someone with the resources to rent one or two bikes (preferably 450's) to ride at racetown 395 or Glen Helen week of Nov 1 thr Nov 6th.

does anyone have any useful or documented information on how many hours a crank can safely run before a rebuild on a 2009 YZ450F? rider is pro level....crank is still within specs at 60 hours.....?? thanks in advance for replys

thanks for your input, i was amazed at the lack of information regarding service interval hours for cranks. we do top ends between 17-20 hours. cranks at 60. i did see that on eric gorr's site he used 75 hours as a bench mark. at the pro level you do not prescribe to "if it aint broke, dont fix it"...

weve been trying to order for weeks now. could not get anyone to answer our emails...finally, got a email last week saying NO Fear would not be honoring any of its contracts. that sucks for many reasons.

Chris Most all of the advice you have received is BAD. most chatter is normal, however it can be reduced by keeping chain a litle tighter, an o ring chain and replacing the swing arm slider (black plastic buffer under & over the swingarm) they get worn through and the chain will actually eat a hole intop the swingarm....check yours
